Microsoft is working on a new system called Positron that could let Xbox players turn their physical game discs into digital copies. The idea is simple: you put the disc in your console or drive, the system checks that you own the game, and then it adds a digital version to your Xbox account. Once converted, the game would work with cloud gaming, play on many devices, and fit better with new hardware, while the physical disc would likely stop working afterward to stop people from sharing or selling the same copy. We do not know which games would work, if it costs money, or when it might launch, and Microsoft has not confirmed it, so this is still just a rumor.

Backward step for women’s rights in Australia   15 May 2026   One Nation will again attempt to protect women-only spaces from transgender ideology by moving amendments to the Sex Discrimination Act to reflect biological definitions of men and women following the Federal Court’s decision against Sall Grover in the Giggle v Tickle appeal.   Party leader Senator Pauline Hanson said the decision had stripped hard-fought women’s rights in Australia.   “I’m disgusted with this outcome,” Senator Hanson said. “It flies in the face of biological reality and strips rights from women.   “Women-only spaces are no longer protected and are no longer safe from transgender extremism. Here’s an argument, if you don’t have casuals in your game. Your game is just gonna feel like the same sweat fest over and over again. Making it unfun and less attractive to mass market. There is a reason people have been playing WZ Casuals a lot because of how sweaty the regular modes are. SBMM was made to help cater to the casuals and try hards because it gives the a field of playing with players of similar skill groups. It’s not perfect at all, but look what happened to Xdefiant back in 2024. It had no SBMM in its regular MP and still felt bad.

I genuinely wish we could stop actually pretending to care what the casual thinks & go back to making games for gamers. If you’re bad at the game, you’re bad at the game. Get better or leave.
