@mcuban @JNJNews Mfrs already have a method to initiate audits. This requires safety-net providers to up-front the full price & wait an indeterminate amt of time for rebates. If extended to health centers, it would be impossible for us to offer uninsured patients access to affordable Xarelto.

I think this is to reduce the significant amount of fraud that @JNJNews (and other manufacturers face ). Every single meeting I have had with a drug mfg has included a discussion about 340b fraud amounting to tens of millions of dollars or more. It looks like JJ is just asking to be able to fully audit claims in a reasonable period of time Do you see anything in this program that would prevent eligible patients or hospitals, from getting the discount they are entitled to ? I haven’t so far.
