This week @MZEZ_RS conducts a training "Law, Policy and Science in Environmental Peacebuilding" in partnership with @GenevaWaterHub and Peace Operations Training Centre. Capacity building in this field is essential for effective integration of environmental factors into conflict prevention and peacebuilding, one of #Slovenia 🇸🇮 priorities at the #UNSC.

Impt mtg organised by @UNDP @JapanMissionUN: Thanks largely to the courage of Afghan women entrepreneurs, supported by many including the EU & UN agencies, the foreseen collapse of Afghanistan did not occur. Now we must fine-tune aid to match their needs & aspirations.

We heard clearly from Afghan women today at launch of @UNDP report go.undp.org/ZkD; 'We are change-makers"; "trust in our agency"; "help grow our businesses" and more! Investing in new skills, tech, markets, affordable finance is their call. Now, if only we listen.
