This will of course get mocked, but I don't know what else he's supposed to say right now. They're all sucking. They all know they're sucking. Nobody is more annoyed about it than they are. Also can't get too discouraged and have to trust their abilities, track records.

@SamOlbur This is past the point of “don’t worry it’s just baseball”. You can go on a losing streak but to go on a losing streak completely lifeless isn’t baseball.

I know I overreact and exaggerate on here a lot but I can honestly tell you I’ve never seen a stretch of baseball like this. 4 straight games without a run vs a starter, 5 hits in 2 games against the worst pitching staff in baseball.

“It’s just baseball” miss me with that. “Oh but the stats and numbers say…” if that’s all that mattered they wouldn’t play the games. Its not losing 7 in a row it’s the way they’ve lost 7 in a row. Losing 7 and being competitive is baseball,losing 7 like this is being bad. #Cubs

@PCA4FC He’d rather they come in to high pressure at bats late in the game. He’s stuck with all these guys through this whole bad stretch and that’s when he decides to replace the vets…

He will strike out more than Happ lol. Take a peek at Owen Caissie's numbers. And he's more refined (especially vs righties) than Alcantara is today. (If you're looking to try something different, it's Pedro Ramirez)

This is one of the most embarrassing performances I have ever seen on a baseball field.

10 win streaks are cool until you then lose 10 immediately. No fire no consistency. They can’t all be bad at once and when they are something needs changed and they refuse, just roll the same squad out there.

@ChiefCub If you bench him for the fielding you need to bench Happ and Suzuki for their striking out or RISP, and probably the rest of the lineup for other reasons.

Unacceptable, especially after last nights drop. He needs to ride some pine.

Why is Happ still in the lineup? Other sports reduce playing time if someone is in bad form. We just keep pumping em out #Cubs
