I don't understand this...while Israel is under bombardment by ballistic missiles with many casualties..in this area in the West Bank the decision is made by extremists to go out and attack civilians...it's deeply troubling. Why would anyone do this? They could be volunteering to help in Arad or Dimona instead. Such a disconnect and horror

@fribonde Tenker at problemet er at norsk skole bruker mer tid på opplæring i religion, og da spesielt kristendom, en den bruker på å lære barn engelsk. Det er også skammelig at man bruker mer tid på å lære barn om religion enn naturfag.

I often catch flak for my criticisms of Boomers.
I admit, it's lazy shorthand. I'm not criticizing the age group so much as the behavior traits that cohort is known for.
I maintain that Boomerism is more of a state of mind than a generational demonym. That is, not all chronological boomers are character boomers, and vice versa.
I define Boomerism as a toxic slurry of materialism, pathological hedonism, a complete lack of introspection, a desire to be cruel to those less fortunate, and the conviction that one is never in the wrong no matter what.
There are 20 year-olds who practice Boomerism and 70 year-olds who don't.

2,000,000 active-duty soldiers,
9,000+ military aircraft,
and over 1,700 military ships.
No one in NATO needs an unreliable ally compromised by both Russia and Israel.

The agreement establishes a clear rule: no third country can purchase, control, or militarize Greenland without approval from both Canada and Denmark. @ChrisO_wiki 😂 Two US Aircraft Carrier strike groups and a few submarines could easily interdict any effort from Europe to secure Greenland. Either by air or by sea. From a purely military standpoint it would have been amusing to see them try.

By putting brass from 5 NATO countries on Greenland they forced the hand of USA: Attack 5 NATO members or don't, knowing that the domestic pressure on government would be unmanageable (even from GOP)

They also operate RBS-17 — a Hellfire missile adapted for coastal warfare.

NATO has one big yearly exercise (Cold Response) that focuses only on Arctic operations and security. 32000 troops from all NATO members, US withdrew most of its participants this year. Arctic security has been taken serious for decades by most members...
