On 24 January 2026, a false FIR has been registered against me by the Hub Police, for raising voice for Enforcedly disappeared Baloch Women. My brother Daad Shah Baloch is already a victim of enforced disappearance, and instead of finding him, the state is registering FIRs against me, his sister who is only asking for justice. I have been going to courts, to every forum, to every platform, just to find my brother. And this is what I get in return, more FIRs, more harassment, more attempts to silence me. This is not the first time. They have done this before. But I will not stop. I will keep going to courts, I will keep raising my voice, I will keep fighting, we deserves justice. Monthly Human Rights Report on Balochistan: 65 Enforced Disappearances and 50 Killings Recorded in March 2026 During March 2026, at least 65 cases of enforced disappearances were documented across Balochistan, including 64 men and 1 woman. House raids remained the primary method, accounting for 50 cases. The FC was linked to 35 cases, intelligence agencies to 19, CTD to 7, death squads to 3, and Rangers to 1. Students were the most affected group, with 25 cases recorded, while nine minors were also among those abducted. Only 16 individuals were later released, while the majority remain disappeared. Alongside these disappearances, 50 killings were reported during the same period. These included 25 targeted killings and 14 custodial killings of previously disappeared persons. Other reported violence included mortar attacks and shootings by security forces in 6 cases, along with 5 body recoveries. The FC and state-backed death squads were identified as the main perpetrators in majority of these incidents. The month also witnessed a wider pattern of repression and disruption to civilian life. Police blocked a press conference by families of detained Baloch Yakjehti Committee leaders in Quetta, while curfew measures in Zehri disrupted daily life. Multiple night raids, property destruction, and harassment were reported in Turbat, Surab, and Gwadar. Additional incidents included the destruction of fuel stock in Gwadar during Ramadan, a military operation in Laghar, Surab, a woman previously taken into custody being presented as a “suicide bomber,” a journalist booked under terrorism charges in Quetta, 12 individuals declared proclaimed offenders by the ATC Quetta, and Seema Baloch being placed on the Fourth Schedule in Hub. Aamir Noor Shot Dead Shortly After Release by Death Squads in Kech; Wife Injured Aamir Noor from the Konshkalat area of Tump, Kech was subjected to enforced disappearance by Pakistani forces on 04 November 2024 and was released on 24 April 2026 after prolonged detention. He was later shot dead on 28 April 2026 while traveling with his wife and sister to Karachi for medical treatment. Members of state-backed death squads intercepted their bus, forced him off, and opened fire, killing him instantly and injuring his wife and sister. HRCB notes a deeply concerning pattern in such incidents. Between January 2025 and April 2026, a total of 11 reported cases involved individuals who, after being subjected to enforced disappearance and later released, were subsequently targeted. Ten of them lost their lives, while one individual survived an attempted killing. These incidents were carried out by local death squads, raising serious concerns over continued persecution even after release from custody. #Balochistan

Four days have passed since the second enforced disappearance of DaadShah Baloch, and his family still has no information about his whereabouts. His case reflects a clear denial of due process and basic rights. Fozia Baloch has been illegally detained simply for asking where her brother is, and she is being denied access to legal counsel, which raises serious concerns about her safety and rights. Fozia Baloch’s only act was to seek truth and justice for her forcibly disappeared brother. Instead of answers, she faces detention and isolation. This treatment of a sister demanding accountability shows how families are being pressured into silence. Her situation requires urgent attention and immediate intervention to ensure her release and protection. Human rights activists, women rights activists, and human rights advocates must raise their voices. Immediate pressure is needed to secure the safe release of DaadShah Baloch and to end the unlawful detention of Fozia Baloch. Daad Shah is abducted on 21st April. Local PS Maripur refuses to even receive application for FIR. Sister Fozia, Mother Mahal Nieces Karima & Zaleya helpless approach KPC to seek help from the media and are arrested u/s 124-A PPC (Sedition). Well done PPP. Well done Sindh Police.

Pakistani authorities have registered an FIR (No. 22, dated 25 April 2026) against @FoziaBaloch10 and other Baloch women activists under Section 124A (sedition), 188, and 186, charges that carry severe penalties. The FIR, filed by Sub Inspector Fazal-Ur-Rehman at Artillery Maidan Police Station, alleges that women raised “anti-state slogans” and displayed “hate material” on mobile screens. Update: Activist Fozia Baloch is being held at Aram Bagh station along with her elderly mother without any FIR or legal reason. Police is not allowing lawyers inside, the thana is quite literally shut.

My brother, Dad Shah, was forcibly disappeared by law enforcement agencies (LEAs) on 21 April 2026. On 22 April, I went to the Karachi Press Club and completed the booking for a press conference. I followed their process, asked only for a small space to speak, to tell the world that my brother is missing — that he matters. Still, I was refused a spot. The Karachi Press Club has always been our only hope. When we were harassed, threatened, and pushed back by Sindh police for protesting, its gates remained open to us. It was one of the few spaces where our voices were allowed to exist without fear. Today, even that door feels closed. This is not just about one person. This is about the shrinking of every space for Baloch voices. We are not asking for favors. Dadshah Baloch, a resident of the Gresha area of Khuzdar, was forcibly abducted for the second time by police and plainclothes personnel from his residence in the Hawks Bay area of Karachi. The entire incident was witnessed by his family members, who were present at the time of the raid. He was previously abducted on 11 August 2023 and later released on 5 September 2023 following sustained family protests and efforts. #Balochistan #EndEnforcedDisappearances
