I built a privacy cloud for AI agents. 34 containers. 1 command. Zero big tech. The agent is born sovereign. Everyone is building the agent's brain. Nobody is building the bunker where it lives. Freedom Stack is a privacy infrastructure, not a framework, not a wrapper. Architecture. For whom? Agents operating in hostile jurisdictions, asymmetrically regulated markets, or any scenario where the infrastructure owner can become the adversary. No other product combines AI agent infrastructure with privacy-native architecture. Not n8n, not Dify, not LangChain. None of them route through Tor, generate .onion services, or encrypt agent comms E2E. Censorship resistance isn't a feature; it's the architecture. Your agent deserves sovereignty. github.com/Michae2xl/free…

Very excited to hear about an upcoming full node desktop wallet. Thanks Josh, and ZODL team.
Josh Swihart 🛡@jswihart

Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL) has secured over $25 million in funding from a16z, Paradigm, Winklevoss Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Cypherpunk Technologies, Maelstrom (family office of Arthur Hayes), Chapter One, David Friedberg, Haseeb Qureshi, Mert, Balaji and others. If you aren’t familiar, Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL) is the team formerly known as Electric Coin Company (ECC), the group that launched Zcash, and the creator of @zodl_app. The name is new, but our team has been building Zcash for a decade. A couple of years ago, my team and I set out to change the trajectory of Zcash with an uncompromising focus on the user experience for shielded ZEC. We released Zodl (then called Zashi) and have never looked back. The release of the normie-friendly wallet was the first step. Then came integrations with partners like Flexa for retail spending and Keystone for cold storage. Most recently, we worked with the NEAR team to unlock ZEC swaps through NEAR intents. It worked. The proof is in the numbers. The wallet has driven adoption of the Zcash shielded pool by over 400%, and facilitated more than $600M in ZEC swaps since October. Now is the time to build on that momentum and accelerate. In addition to Zodl, we are building Zallet, a full node wallet that will also underpin new desktop software. Ultimately, we intend to deliver a private, decentralized financial system as an alternative to legacy institutions. This funding allows us to bring these ambitions to life, without relying on Zcash dev fund grants to get there. I’m grateful for these investors who are partnering with us. These are exciting days for the ZODL team and Zcash more broadly. We’re in the dawn of a new era. We will get ZEC in the hands of billions. Download at zodl.com Onward.

🚨 Someone built a full virtual computer that runs inside your browser. No downloads. No installs. No VMs. Just a Docker command. It's called Neko. It runs a complete desktop environment inside a Docker container and streams it to your browser using WebRTC. Not a screen share. Not a remote desktop. A real computer running in a container that you control from any browser tab. No VNC lag. No RDP setup. No TeamViewer watermarks. Just smooth, real-time video and audio. Here's what this thing can do: → Run Firefox, Chrome, Brave, Edge, Tor Browser, or Opera in an isolated container → Run full desktop environments like XFCE or KDE → Multiple users can watch and control the same session simultaneously → Built-in audio streaming. Watch videos together with perfect sync → Persistent sessions. Close the tab, come back later, everything is still there → GPU acceleration for smooth rendering → Embed it in your own web app via API Here's why people are losing their minds over this: Watch parties. Open a movie, invite friends, everyone sees the same screen in real-time with synced audio. Open source alternative to Hyperbeam. Throwaway browsing. Need to visit a sketchy site? Do it in a disposable container. Nothing touches your real machine. Pair it with Tor Browser and a VPN for full anonymity. Team collaboration. Debug code together. Brainstorm on a shared whiteboard. Give a live demo where your audience can actually click around. Secure jump host. Access internal company apps from anywhere without a VPN. Only video leaves the container. No cookies, no tokens, no data on the client. Here's the wildest part: The backstory. The creator built this because rabb.it shut down and he just wanted to watch anime with his friends. Discord kept crashing. His internet couldn't handle streaming. So he built an entire virtual browser platform from scratch. One Docker command to start: docker run -d -p 8080:8080 m1k1o/neko:firefox Open localhost:8080. You now have a full browser running in the cloud that anyone can join. 17.3K GitHub stars. 1.2K forks. 2,133 commits. 57 contributors. 100% Open Source. Apache 2.0 License.

10 days until Brazil’s draconian “All Operating Systems must have age verification” law takes full effect. To date, not one major Open Source organization (Red Hat, Canonical, SUSE, etc.) has addressed this law… which carries $9.5 Million (USD) in fines per violation (per user). And *all* major Open Source organizations have some presence in Brazil (customers, employees, or offices). Will Brazil follow through on their threats of massive fines?

Are you aware of uses of the BLAKE3 secure hash function? Please contribute to this list! bfswa.substack.com/p/where-is-bla… My hope is that lots of different tools all using the same secure hash function can result in “accidental” opportunities to protect and empower users.

Picking up a lot of FUD. Zcash is quantum resistant. SHIELD your coins. BTW, if you want anonymity, mixers are dumb. To quote Zooko: "You can't add privacy to money in flight." This news piece from a year ago about Bitcoin mixers illustrates that. tronweekly.com/bitcoin-mixers…
Justin Bons@Justin_Bons

ZEC & XMR privacy is guaranteed to be cracked within the next few years! ⚠️ Quantum computing can de-anonymize it all if the public key is exposed When lives depend on long-term privacy, use a non-ZK-based mixer instead Privacy is a human right; we must acknowledge the risks!

Developers now have 11 days until the Brazilian law, requiring age verification on all Operating Systems, takes effect. The insane and astronomical fines, for failure to comply with Brazil’s demands, would apply to every system used in Brazil… from Linux to Windows and beyond. Will Brazil attempt to enforce this law and levy fines? Will developers give in to Brazil’s demands… or fight the law? … 11 days.
