Boy walks into reception late for school. Receptionist says ‘late again!’ Enters building. Passing member of staff says ‘are you late again?’ On his way to class, someone else asks him for a minute. ‘Are you ok?’ They say. Boy confides that he has no bed. 4 children in a 2 bedroom house. Mum has late nights and he gets himself ready. Good to consider how we may greet some children in a morning.

Big 4 bank profits were up 700% in first half of this year compared to 2020, so I’ve just asked the Chancellor to introduce a windfall tax on banks’ excess profits, to fund support for households struggling with energy & housing costs If you agree he should please RT! 🙏

At 9.38am this morning my extraordinary sister peacefully passed away at home surrounded by friends who loved her. She was the first female,the youngest & most successful ⁦@UKLabour⁩ General Secretary in history. She was kind, generous and brave. I loved with my whole heart

@Glinner So much hate stirred up by items of clothing…that is the sad thing here. I’ve never read comments with such a lack of compassion, kindness or any attempt at empathy. The vitriol is terrifying, not the outfit.

I met a 'transwoman' like this in Norwich. Funny how so many of them dress like children's TV presenters.
