They do mention some stuff though. TP says that sky people founded Hyrule and created the temple of time. Sky people who were closer to the gods than the Hylians. Sounds just like the Zonai to me. Also all you have to do is just push it back further. All the way to the earliest point we have ever seen in a Zelda game. Everything falls into place.
