Trotz massiver Angriffe und Diffamierungen blieb er unbeirrt und konsequent. Er hat den Willen gezeigt, im Themenfeld Islamismus tatsächlich Veränderungen durchzuführen – nicht symbolisch, sondern real. Genau das erklärt die Nervosität jener, die jahrelang von Verharmlosung und Wegsehen profitiert haben.

@SiegbertDroese @KubickiWo Diese Debatte betrifft zwei völlig unterschiedliche Sachverhalte: Verleumderische Angriffe gegen Personen (die rechtswidrig sind und verfolgt werden sollten) versus inhaltliche politische Aussagen (wo wir Redefreiheit gegen linkswoke Meinungstyrannen durchsetzen müssen).

HateAid und andere Akteure, die als eine Art private Hilfspolizei den öffentlichen Diskurs bestimmen wollen, sind keine Verteidiger rechtsstaatlicher und demokratischer Werte. „Trusted Flagger“ stellen eine rechtsstaatliche Fehlkonstruktion dar; auch die staatlichen Millionen, die an NGOs fließen, sind selbst aus verfassungsrechtlicher Sicht schwer zu ertragen. Die FDP muss hier Farbe bekennen, Fehlentscheidungen im Zusammenhang mit dem DSA klar benennen und auf eine konsequente Reform auf europäischer wie auch auf nationaler Ebene hinwirken. Das sind wir unserem Selbstverständnis als Partei der Meinungsfreiheit und unserer Geschichte als Hüterin der Bürgerrechte schuldig. WK
