@ddayen Well, also before Congress can override a veto, the President is allowed to sit on the bill for 9.99 business days until actually vetoing it. So if the President goes crazy and decides to throw the football, we throw the football.

I guess you could override that veto, but you'd need a two-thirds vote, so again, if there's any question it's not going to happen. And it gets crazier.

@BushLeagueBlake @CodifyBaseball The ABS callenge system gives the same allowance for error (of 0.10") as the Hawkeye in tennis, except that in tennis the ball has to literally touch a visible chalk line instead of a mid-air boundary that varies for each batter. So the ABS is much less reliable at that range.
