@MercedesBenz Based on my research, it doesn’t appear to be supported. I’m also not sure what the safety rationale is behind limiting it to two 10-minute intervals, it seems like a single 20-minute interval or unlimited 10-minute intervals would make more sense.

@_DCVA_ We completely understand your frustration, especially in cold weather. The two-start limit is a safety feature that resets once you manually start the vehicle. Have you tried the departure scheduler? It might be perfect for your morning school routine.

@MercedesBenz why would you limit remote start to be 10mins and only allow two remote starts in a row? It’s 11 degrees outside my car needs to warm up for school drop off.

@piersmorgan That’s the issue—he acted without any regard for the connotation it carries. Rather than taking accountability, he doubles down. He’s clearly a very intelligent man, but with little to no common sense.

Elon Musk was very ill-advised to do this kind of salute to denote his clearly stated ‘my heart goes out to you’ sentiment… but he obviously didn’t mean it as a Nazi salute and anyone who says he did is being a disingenuous idiot.

@stocktalkweekly It’s a Nazi salute. It doesn’t matter what he said while doing it. He did it. He knows better than do imitate a salute that is knowingly wrong. It’s like giving someone the finger and saying I love you… you still gave that person the finger.

Elon slapped his chest & pushed his hand out toward the crowd, and then said "My heart goes out to you" -- yet there are still idiots sharing that clip and miscontextualizing it as a Nazi salute. Shame on them. Any time you see a snippet that shocks you, go find the full clip.

One could envision drone tanker(s) for the big fires.

Putting out fires before they spread does not seem like a serious technological challenge in a world with @SpaceX, @xai and @anduriltech. So @elonmusk and @PalmerLuckey, why don’t we start a company that uses satellites, AI, and drone technology to put out fires before they spread? One can envision satellite monitoring, rapid drone investigation, and drone swarm water delivery. The number of drones sent to extinguish the fire and the nature of the extinguishing agent (water, foam, dry or wet chemicals etc) would be a function of the nature and scale of the fire. No human lives would be put a risk and there is no risk of DEI involvement in drone selection. What do you think? I would love to invest. And it would be very good for real estate values in California.
