@adamscochran Trump said Iran no longer has a military. He erased that defense. His plan to destroy Iran's infrastructure is a punishment for not opening the Strait.

Still a war crime. Even if power plants are dual-use, then to not be a war crime the strike must be: * proportional * scope limited * and achieve a direct military necessary objective that is not related to coercion, or collective punishment. For example taking out a power plant that fuels specific anti-air weapons before a larger airspace campaign could be justified. This cannot, as the goal is influence itself.
