@MattCrivelli @SBarrettBar Same here. It’s quieter than the ‘cattle market’ Asda the other end of town - I pop into Sainsbury’s to grab a meal deal on my way in from work and am always relieved that it is a pretty peaceful experience. Couldn’t care less to be recorded at self-scan 🤷‍♂️

@AnnieBeale1 @TTRadioOfficial He needs so much more than they seem to want to offer. They’re so driven by Ofsted, it’s painful. The mini-bus visits when they’re ill for more than 2 days (government stipulation) makes my blood boil. Where’s the trust gone? Awful.

I'm dreading secondary transition 😞 he is going to be so strict with himself! He behaves well, but hates to get things wrong, he is so hard on himself.

@AnnieBeale1 @TTRadioOfficial I 100% agree Annie. I can’t wait till my youngest finishes year 11. Never thought I’d say that. College (round here at least) is so laid back in comparison. Kids need to ‘grow’ as individuals, not clones. They also need time and space to cope with the stress of puberty.

@scarficus @TTRadioOfficial 👏 A tracksuit with schl logo wld work. My youngest’s junior schl got the kids to design what they’d be comfy in and it was made for them! They now don’t have to lug PE kits in (at secondary level this wld especially help re changeovers/heavy bags. 1950s uniforms are unnecessary.

@TTRadioOfficial Taking a phone for not having a tie seems excessive/not related to the offence but presumably the child knows the consequence and students must give something otherwise schools would end up supplying ties that don't come back. Solution: simpler uniform negating the whole issue.

I am sooo fed up that what used to often be a fairly nice parent-schl relationship + a ‘family’ vibe in schl for the kids has descended into a joyless prison-like miserable experience. Trust now GONE

@TTRadioOfficial Going through this atm 96 interventions, isolation multiple times for crap just like this. Respect is lost this way but they don't care. If you don't comply, bye bye 🤷🏻‍♀️
