They forgot to lock down a public data cache and spills out the full draft about Claude Mythos (codename Capybara). It’s a whole new tier that beats Opus, GPT-5.4 on coding, deep reasoning, and especially cybersecurity Anthropic calls it “by far the most powerful AI model we’ve ever developed” and a “step change” in capabilities. it's already in early testing with a tiny group of customers.

And no, you do not get to invoke us when it is politically convenient after spending years treating us as a punchline, a heresy, or a demonic cult. A lot of people on the right were perfectly happy to sneer at Latter-day Saints when it cost them nothing. So it is hard to take the sudden appeals to solidarity seriously when they show up only when Utah becomes strategically useful.
If you want Latter-day Saints to care what you think, start by treating them like fellow citizens and fellow believers in good faith rather than a disposable political asset.

I had a kid come ask for my signature and he didn’t have any information about it. So I didn’t sign. Don’t ask for signatures for something you can’t explain.
Two things can be true at once:
1. Redistricting is constitutionally the Legislature’s job, elected lawmakers are accountable in a way commissioners are not.
2. Letting politicians draw their own districts is a built-in conflict of interest.

Someone said once that the 90s was the best decade because while technology was rapidly improving it was still in service of improving the quality of human life, not in service of mass information gathering and surveillance. Unrelated, Claude Code is insane. I wanted to pull this data, but it's a tricky query. We told Claude what we needed and how. It independently pulled the DB schema, figured out that our method wouldn't work, developed a new method using different tables, and wrote a query to make it happen. It took Claude 8 minutes.
