Would like to make it very clear: I am a FORMULA ONE fan, I don't care about endurance racing. I don't care if it doesn't make me a "real motorsports fan". I have plenty of other sports i prefer spending my time on than watching everything motorsports has to offer.

I can understand, there are far too many moving variables at play here
but the essence remains the same,
You're being judged over both quali+Race
In Max's case, I'm not entirely sure what could have been given in qualifying, he didn't really get to compete
That left a gap, and then I do think he had the faster car compared to Lando and couldn't overtake him..
it was a good recovery but it wasn't anything more than that

This was a beautiful race for lando norris man 🔥
- he had so many issues in qualifying and almost no runs in free practice sessions
- the car had the worst deg among the top 4 teams and yet he managed to defend against Verstappen who was in a much faster car and fresh tires
