See that squiggly line (at the very end)? That’s my portfolio — and that’s life. Up, down, deposits, withdrawals, wins, and painful losses. Real. Imperfect. Human. Most people will tell you investing and personal finance are “simple.” I say they’re complicated… but they don’t have to be chaotic. There are practical rules, timeless principles, and honest lessons that actually move the needle. That’s what I’m here to share. Who am I? I’m a CFA charterholder working in the asset management industry. I hold a degree in Economics and a Master’s in Finance. Seven years ago my first job paid me €800 per month and I had a negative net worth. Today, at 33, I’m on track to pay off my house with zero other debt and I earn multiples of that old salary every month. You’ll hear a lot of voices shouting “Never pay off your house!” My view? Personal finance is PERSONAL for a reason. Math matters — but life isn’t just math. Peace of mind, sleep-at-night factor, and your own circumstances matter too. On this account (@_PatientWallet_) you’ll get: -My honest thoughts on markets and individual stocks Practical personal finance lessons that actually worked for me -Encouragement on tough days -Transparent portfolio updates (the good, the bad, and the ugly) No hype. No get-rich-quick nonsense. No fake promises. Just real talk from someone who’s been through the grind (and still going through it). Ask me anything. Challenge me. Learn with me. Welcome to the journey. Let’s build wealth patiently — and wisely.

What's interesting to me is when I read these, I don't think both are wrong...I think both are right: “renting is throwing money away” and “renting gives you freedom” Theyre both right. By design. If you want short-term freedom and flexibility, you rent....usually on a one-year time horizon. You are paying your landlord a premium for the "freedom". Meanwhile if you own you are building equity which can lead to long term freedom if you dont waste money elsewhere or buy a house you cant afford. -The guy in the room who retired in his 40s

The “renting is throwing money away” crowd is loud. The “renting gives you freedom” crowd is even louder. But what if both are wrong? Buying vs renting is deeply personal. There’s no universal right answer - only what fits your life, goals, and numbers. The uncomfortable truths: Renting can be smarter - especially right now. Factor in interest, maintenance, insurance, taxes, and transaction costs. At today’s prices and rates, renting often wins on pure math. Mortgages can be handcuffs - they reduce flexibility, lock you in place, and make big life moves expensive or stressful. But owning has real power too: You’re not feeding someone else’s mortgage Leverage & time has built wealth for generations Stability, predictability, and your own space hit different I’m 33. I own my home and I love it. My mortgage is only ~15% of MY take-home, locked at <2% for 5 years (soon to expire), and it gives me room to grow a family with a garden I control. In 2 years I plan to be completely debt-free. Renting offers flexibility. Owning offers stability and roots. Neither is inherently better. Do the math. Know your priorities. Then decide for yourself. What’s your take - team rent, team buy, or it depends? 👇

True. Renting vs buying isn’t a moral or universal win it’s a trade-off between flexibility, cost structure, and long-term stability. The better choice depends on personal goals, financial position, and life stage, not slogans or social pressure. Clear thinking beats emotional bias on both sides.

The most common misconception about $RDDT is that they are dependent on Google’s search algorithm Reddit is its own ecosystem, much like Instagram or X. They have hundreds of millions of mobile app users and desktop users, with many using both. The users that only go to Reddit through Google Search are logged out, don’t use it much, and thus contribute very little to Reddit’s business. “How are they going to grow users”? Organically. As people get to an age where reddit is appropriate for them, many will start using the platform. And let me remind people that Reddit is not a new website. It’s over 20 years old. It is the “front page of the internet” and has been dominant in its social media niche basically since inception.

@DrewCohenMoney yeah key to understand the details around these - also revenue growth seem to decelerate Y/Y which might be another concern for the market...

$INTU reported 3Q They raised guidance, but the stock is down -10% after hours. While Turbo Tax revenues grew +7%, they noted that total Online Turbo Tax units fell -2% and "pay nothing" customers fell to ~7mn from 8mn y/y This is concerning as it suggests customer headwinds for their Turbo Tax product and every investor is going to wonder if this is the result of AI... On the other hand, Turbo Tax Live grew +36% y/y and is 53% of Turbo Tax revenue (and Turbo Tax is ~50% of their total business). Their strategy to AI has been to lean more into more complex tax returns and adding a human element to increase trust/ ensure accuracy. These results broadly speaking suggesting that strategy is working, but it was a bit surprising to see Turbo Tax already showing a hit to volume. (Perhaps on the call they will provide commentary as to why)

$INTU crashing after earnings- why? Revenue growth seems to decelerate to 10% growth?! They’re also streamlining: 17% workforce reduction while returning capital aggressively. $1.6B in buybacks done! Raised full-year guidance: Revenue: $21.34B–$21.37B (~13-14% growth) Looking forward to the earnings call!

Rick reached out to me asking how to join my $2,000 program. After reading his situation, I told him NOT to buy it. Shocking right? Not at all. That’s how I operate. He is 81, recently lost his job, may need to pull $2,000 to $3,000 per month from investments, and is already under enough pressure. That is not the moment to sell someone a premium program. Told him what he needs to do instead. Keep the cash. Stabilize the household. We do not chase dollars here. I try to help people find the best path for their life, even when that path means telling them not to buy. Long term help to a community of people who trust you, beats short term revenue every single time.

Is $RDDT becoming the oil of AI? AI models are hungry for its authentic human data, numbers show it but the stock price is ignoring it. Bullish: -Explosive & Profitable Growth: Revenue +70% YoY & FCF positive and growing fast -Unique AI + Commerce Moat: AI models need this real human data for training -Strong Balance Sheet: Net cash balance of $2.8B Bearish: -Stock Price Ignoring the Fundamentals: Once the market groups you under a theme (SaaS) be ready for pain. -Ad Market Dependency & Competition: Heavily reliant on advertising and there some big players in the market to compete against. What do you think? Buy, Sell or Hold?

All eyes on $NVDA earnings. Nvidia reports after the close, with Street expectations around $78.9B–$79B revenue and $1.74–$1.78 EPS. The stock is up ~18% YTD and +35% from March lows. Jensen will talk agents, unstoppable token generation demand....semis have run hard so the bar is sky-high. A beat + raised guidance could reinforce the entire AI trade, but any whiff of issues might spark rotation??? Tonight’s Nvidia print will likely set the tone into tomorrow and whether AI names momentum accelerate or we see some profit-taking after the run. Thesis on long-term AI capex and earnings growth remains intact for the masses, but macro (yields/inflation) and positioning matter in the short term. My eyes are also glued to $INTU because i own the stock!

The funny thing about the stock market is we have all these people trying to get rich overnight with risky leveraged bets. Meanwhile those that stack small consistent wins get rich.
