Yesterday I met with the legal team from @A1Policy. They are going to assist by finding avenues to save my family ranching operation from hostile encroachment of industrial solar. @johnrich Washington Department of Ecology… I’d be more than happy to share with you all my research… I’ve got lots. Better yet, you should sit in on their SWAP call this afternoon 1PM EST ecology.wa.gov/regulations-pe… just listen. They are literally making rules NOW for what they punished the King Ranch for… of course they didn’t even test the King Ranch sites until a month ago (punish first make up the evidence later). They are creating a rule because what they did to the Kings without one wasn’t legally sound. Here’s another interesting factoid their “wetland specialist” is an activist member of the DSA… several chapters in fact… the same organization Clinton’s former chief of staff is throwing up red flags over and asking for an investigation into. I have a terrific video on how they do their “wetland delineations.” Rumor has it the process on the King Ranch was just as bad on Chuck Rogers property. What is happening in Washington State can no longer be ignored. There are severe civil rights violations occurring to American Landowners and if it is allowed to continue it will spread. The SWAP rule is all about getting around the Supreme Courts ruling on Sackett. If they succeed. If there is no intervention to protect the rights of these farmers and ranchers. You won’t just be hearing about these issues coming from the State of Washington.

Caller: I’m 70 years old and want to retire by 80. A company wants to lease 45 acres of my family farmland for a solar farm, and I’m wondering if it’s a good idea. Dave Ramsey: I’d be very cautious. If the company goes out of business, you could be left with outdated solar equipment that’s expensive to remove. Caller: They say the lease will provide income for 30 to 40 years. Dave Ramsey: The problem is that the lease ties up your land for decades, making it harder to sell or pass on to your family. It could also become a burden for your heirs. Caller: So what would you do instead? Dave Ramsey: I’d consider selling a smaller portion of the land maybe 10 acres and investing the proceeds to generate retirement income. That gives you cash to retire while allowing you to keep most of the property in the family. Caller: So you wouldn’t sign the solar lease? Dave Ramsey: Not based on what you’ve shared. I’d rather have flexibility, liquid investments, and avoid locking up your land in a long-term agreement.
