Muslims do not offer regular five-time Namaz on roads. It usually happens only during Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Twice a year and only for around 10 minutes, that too when the mosque is full. In recent years, many mosques have started arranging 2–3 Jamaats to ensure people don’t have to pray outside. But the leaders know that this is the only way to divert the attention of their followers. They know, This is the only way to please their followers and make sure they don't question the govt.

You are repeating the standard apologetic argument: "context, context, context." But context does not erase what the text actually says. Quran 9:29 does not mention the Byzantine army. It does not say, "Fight the Roman soldiers who attacked you." It says: "Fight those who do not believe in Allah... among the People of the Book, until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued." The target is defined by religion, not by military aggression. The verse identifies Jews and Christians by what they believe, not by any act of war. If this was merely a battlefield instruction, the wording would have referred to specific combatants. Instead, it gives a religious criterion: those who do not believe in Allah and Muhammad. That is why classical jurists treated this verse as the legal foundation for offensive jihad and the dhimma system. It was not limited to one battle. It became state policy for centuries. Even Ibn Kathir explains that this verse is a command to fight Jews and Christians until they either accept Islam or submit under Islamic rule and pay jizya in humiliation. And the humiliation is explicit. The Arabic phrase "wa hum saghirun" means "while they are subdued, humbled, or brought low." This is not a neutral tax arrangement. It is institutionalized religious subjugation. Quran 8:12 is also revealing. Allah says: "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. So strike above their necks and strike every fingertip of them." Yes, it was spoken during battle. But the problem is that this is presented as divine speech from an all-knowing and supposedly merciful God. A true messenger from God should not glorify terror and beheading. Your explanation of Sahih Muslim 2922 does not solve the issue either. Whether you call it prophecy or command, it still portrays a future in which Muslims fight Jews until even stones and trees expose them. As for the Bible, Christians do not deny difficult passages in the Old Testament. But those texts are part of an ancient covenant and are not binding commands for Christians today. Jesus Christ explicitly taught: "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." (Matthew 5:44) Muhammad, by contrast, is presented in Islam as the perfect example for all times (Quran 33:21), and his military actions and teachings remain normative. That is the crucial difference. You said every religion has violent texts. The real question is this: Which founder taught his followers to love their enemies, and which founder fought wars, enslaved captives, and established a system where non-believers were subdued because of their faith? A religion should be judged by its scriptures, its founder, and the moral example it promotes. And when Islam's own texts repeatedly divide humanity into believers and unbelievers, command warfare against those who reject Muhammad, and predict the killing of Jews at the end of time, it is entirely reasonable to question the claim that Islam has "nothing to do with terrorism." Facts do not disappear because they are surrounded by historical explanations.

We have 8-year-old kids who have memorized the entire Quran word for word, and it’s not even uncommon. I’m curious, is it common in Christianity for children to memorize the entire Bible?
