Once again Mike Farnsworth can't keep a poker face when Niki speaks. It's pretty clear Mike knows how toxic DRIPA is for the BC NDP. Claiming DRIPA is benefitting our economy, as people struggle to sell their homes & pay their taxes, will not go over well.

📌Good lord bookmark this one. WTAF??? 🦅🇨🇦💰📈 : BC Attorney General Niki Sharma says DRIPA is an economic win for British Columbia. BC Premier David Eby has flip flopped on DRIPA at least 6 times in the last four months. Including saying he wanted to repeal DRIPA due to unforeseen consequences. Niki is in charge of defending the rights of all citizens in British Columbia during the appeal of the Cowichan land title ruling. Is she competent or is she compromised?

Over and over again David Eby has changed his stance on DRIPA. Eby promised to make suspending DRIPA a vote of confidence, which could bring down his government. Then Eby changed his stance & scrapped the no confidence vote he knew he would lose. He refused to put forward the very DRIPA legislation he promised was coming. Now British Columbians will have to wait at least 4 - 6 months to find out what the government plan is, to defend private property rights in BC. That is another 4 - 6 months of needless speculation & economic loss, while backroom deals are cut where average British Columbians have no say. Pretty clear partnering with First Nations on major projects in BC is not something FN groups are qualified to be a part of.

When the Premier gets desperate, he misleads. Yesterday, he claimed in the House that the BC Conservatives don't support LNG Canada. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our MLA for Skeena, @ClaireRattee, called him out for it, got ejected for it, came back and apologized because she respects this Legislature. But she stands by every word and we stand with her. #bcpoli

Surrey residents are dealing with yet another shooting. Extortion reports have declined but shootings in the community continue to be a persistent risk to public safety. The Minister must do more, including calling for the immediate redevelopment of the SPS gang unit. cbc.ca/news/canada/br…

This is not an abstract problem. It is the story of a senior dying in a hospital chair while waiting for a long-term care bed. The NDP government under David Eby knew this crisis was coming. They had the projections and families sent them emails asking for help. Instead of building the homes that were needed, they chose to pause and cancel those projects. In many cases families received little more than form letters from the government. Close to one hundred million dollars has already been spent on projects that are now on hold. The human cost is heartbreaking. Wait times are growing longer and seniors occupying hospital beds are adding pressure to emergency rooms and our acute care system. This failure is clear for everyone to see.

After flooding CBC airwaves with David Eby's moaning and his accusations that Danielle Smith is a separatist all morning... Janyce McGregor admits that Eby's over the top whining is a distraction maneuver "We do know sometimes focusing attention blame on Ottawa can be very useful when you're trying to deal with extremely difficult issues at home" @Dave_Eby @ABDanielleSmith

PM Carney and Min. Hodgson took victory laps at two mine ceremonies. Mainstream media carried their message. What didn’t make the coverage? Anyone pointing out that the Matawinie mine was authorized in 2021 and that Carney is still sitting on 500+ projects in the federal assessment backlog. Canadians deserve the full picture.
Shannon Stubbs@ShannonStubbsMP

Mark Carney is holding up over 500 economic projects right now. That is the number waiting in the impacted assessment system at a federal level. It is all an illusion for him to turn up at the opening of one mine and pretend he is getting things built.

Oh this is just rich... Bill C-22 is driving VPN businesses like ours out of Canada because of the required user logging. And in the same breath you tell people to secure their data with VPNs. I hope you bought your circus tickets folks, because the clown show is starting.

Farnworth said this bridge would be open by Christmas. Drivers waited until February just to get all four lanes back. Since then, more disruptions, more closures, more excuses. Now this bridge is facing closures AGAIN. This time northbound traffic will shut down the entire weekend, forcing drivers onto detours through the Alex Fraser and Port Mann crossings. This is a major crossing people rely on every single day. More congestion, more delays, more frustration for British Columbians trying to get where they need to go. This is what “done” looks like under the NDP. Delayed, disrupted, still not finished.
DriveBC@DriveBC

🚧⛔HEADS UP - #stal̕əw̓asəmBridge #BCHwy1A northbound will be CLOSED from Friday, May 22 9:00 PM - Monday, May 25 5:00 AM for bridge construction. #SurreyBC #NewWest Southbound will remain open. ➡️Northbound travelers use #AlexFraserBridge or #PortMannBridge ℹ️For more info: drivebc.ca/?pan=-122.7617…

Mark Carney is instructing his lawyers not to put property rights first in court. He is signing deals with First Nations that do not protect homeowners. He is in B.C. today. Time for him to reverse course. Do the right thing and support the Conservative motion to put private property first in B.C. and everywhere: conservative.ca/cpc/protect-pr…

"It’s highly unlikely Mark Carney will follow the same political fate as Britain’s Keir Starmer because, unlike Starmer, Carney is safely ensconced in the Media Protection Program by the major media outlets he finances. In the U.K., much of the media are self-sustaining, financially independent. They have been hammering Starmer’s terrible governance. Also, Carney has the luxury of having control over the federal courts and the Senate that Justin Trudeau loaded up with loyal Liberals."

Carney saying he inherited the Snowbird issue, but forgets to mention, Liberals have been in power for 11 years and Mark Carney had been the economic advisor to PM Trudeau since 2020, so no, he didn’t inherit anything, he just ignored it.
