We've been working for nearly a year to launch this new Community site and review system. I'm very excited about this first version but there are many more improvements to come. I've tried to be exhaustive with the blog post, FAQs, and next steps on our roadmap, but I am sure I forgot some things, so feel free to ask! This has been an incredibly challenging project for a number of reasons. We're only seven people but we have thousands of plugin developers and millions of users. There are many competing priorities to balance. We wanted to make sure the new system would be easy to adopt, backwards compatible, and not completely break people's workflows, while still being a major improvement over the old approach, and allow us to gradually continue enhancing security and discoverability of plugins. Consider it a work in progress. We're listening to everyone's ideas and gripes, and will keep iterating :)

Nice new small update by @Wealthsimple. You can view combined stock holdings by household now. One step closer to being able to manage your partners portfolio from one app! 👀

I laugh when I see people in holding their laptops half open so their Claude Code doesn't shut off All my projects run on a @Hetzner_Online VPS with Claude Code installed next to the sites/apps that I work on and I just SSH in with @TermiusHQ and it keeps going forever even if I disconnect (I use Mosh or Tmux or I just /resume) My MacBook Pro battery life is also much better as everything happens on the server not my laptop I work so incredibly fast now, it's like having a secret benefit over everyone else who are still AI coding on a laptop, then deploying to their server, while their battery life dies and they can never close their laptop And whenever I want I can just switch to Termius on my iPhone and continue working! My workflow is literally: I have a bug or feature, I open Termius, I type it in the project tab, it fixes it, every fix it auto commits to GitHub but it doesn't actually deploy from there anymore because it's editing the site on the server live I don't recommend that to everyone, but I do recommend getting a VPS you can code from and then use as staging and test and deploy from there to your production server

Current personal AI stack * Gemini: $20/month - daily driver and the most used chat client for me on desktop/mobile * Claude Code: $200/month — ran out at $20/month - writing code, building apps * OpenAI: $20/month - main LLM for my OpenClaw, building with Codex app

Just vibing Remix 3, going to get it behaving the way I want and then go look at the mess the agent did or didn't make, correct things, and use that to instruct the skills/docs

I feel a lot of people are using AI tools the way you'd use a car if you didn't know that you can take your foot off the gas. People reporting "well its immensely useful, but gee its stressful to go 110mph to the store, around all those pedestrians"

For the first time, we somehow accidentally landed on a simple, focused format: Markdown. It works for both humans and machines/AI, with great reading and writing tools around it. And, as always, our industry will probably make it more complex, then circle back to docx, gdocs or whatever collaborative mess we invent next. And yes, I didn’t read the full post.
Thariq@trq212

HTML is the new markdown. I've stopped writing markdown files for almost everything and switched to using Claude Code to generate HTML for me. This is why.

@Shpigford Nice! I’d probably keep the File Explorer, but that might just be me. My usage is more reading than writing, mostly reviewing claude or codex generated plans and design docs.

i'm realizing it quickly became what *others* wanted and, as such, i just don't use it much now. which is a problem for a free, OSS tool. i don't need/want iCloud syncing. or an iOS app. or managing folders of documents. or CLIs/MCPs. or AI chatting. i just want to open random .md files and maybe edit them occasionally. and i want it to be fast as hell for that. more thinking to do.

This tweet is going viral from a user who created their account in June 2020. In that same month, they posted a “prediction” claiming the COVID pandemic would end in 2023 and that Hantavirus would emerge in 2026. And this is how these ‘SCAMS’ work: Someone creates an X account, sets it to private, and posts hundreds of different predictions with every possible virus name and scenario imaginable. Then, once one event vaguely lines up with reality, they delete all the other failed predictions and leave only the “correct” one visible. People do the exact same thing with predictions about the Pope dying, celebrity deaths, wars, and other major events. You’re welcome.

@itschrisjayden @Shpigford Yes, I did but it’s still not polished enough for my taste. The key competitive edge for an editor, IMO, is the perfect font and text balance. You really notice it when opening the file in any other app versus Bear or Panda Editor.

I still haven't solved the CO2 bedroom challenge You open the window and you wake up from a 6am garbage truck or barking dogs and sunlight You close it, you suffocate in 1200 ppl at 5am I guess you really need some mini tube in your wall with a vent that opens and closed based on internal CO2 but how do I build that?
