Another example of excellence from @AirbnbHelp: When trying to place me in a comparable listing to a two-story loft in the Gaslamp district of San Diego, they suggest this tiny $60/night shithole in Tijuana airbnb.com/rooms/23544298. Their solution was to send us to Mexico.

@AirbnbHelp It’s been 45 minutes without a reply after @AirbnbHelp publicly offered assistance. Hey, as long as people think you provide proper support to stranded guests, that’s good enough. Solid customer support policy you have there, @Airbnb

@alliejjam @worldmattworld @Airbnb Don't get your hopes up. Same thing is happening with me. So far I've had to come out of pocket $500 for a hotel room, wiped out whatever credits they gave me getting a stopgap place for a few days. @AirbnbHelp only helps @Airbnb

@worldmattworld @Airbnb is awful. My host canceled the day of my trip and they did nothing to help me find a place to stay.
