We’ve been working on offshore energy for data centers for more than a year. Two months ago, we pitched @ycombinator the idea. The vision must have resonated: YC just published the same exact idea as an RFS. #compute-at-sea" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">ycombinator.com/rfs#compute-at…

We just revolutionized a trillion dollar industry. Introducing GutGutGoose: The pill that engineers your microbiome. The only company in the world that creates a personalised probiotic for you, retests to prove we aren't placebo, and if you're not satisfied, you get every single dollar back. @Gutgutgoose

Aight im calling @YCombinator S26 early… the most oversubscribed company in the batch will surely be Dimitris and Emile, two @MIT nuclear engineers building Atomarine 🔥 I’ve seen a bunch of ocean based data center concepts recently and this one makes the most sense to me. Not that it will be cheaper than in space in the long run (sorry lads!), but if we wanna build gigawatts terrestrially at any point, this seems like the best option 👌 @_dkout @Atomarine_co

It’s not every day you get this kind of praise from one of the biggest disruptors. Thank you Philip, now back to building 🚀

@_dkout How far out into open waters can these theoretically be built?

Data centers cannot reach the scale they need on land. Grid interconnection queues are reaching a decade, resource competition burdens local communities, and project development is a very non-repeatable task. We're building nuclear-powered, floating data centers: standalone power and compute, deployable anywhere, 4x faster than building on land. Introducing @Atomarine_co (@ycombinator S26).

@aalshackarchi Something most people don’t know is that the regulatory pathways for this already exist

@_dkout Super cool! What's needs to happen on regulatory to have civilian reactors in international waters?

Earlier this summer @sama came to speak at @ycombinator. He validated our entire business thesis: @OpenAI will need insane amounts of compute and at @Atomarine_co we're building the most scalable system for clean compute that can deploy anywhere on Earth 4x faster than onshore.

@AIDataTracker1 Gas powered installations of similar size create emissions that warm up the oceans 25x more than our systems. By offsetting carbon emissions, our units effectively *cool* the oceans.

@_dkout This will raise the ocean temperature more. On land it’s raising the ambient temp 6°.🚩🆘

@_dkout You can never trust the ocean dude. It has a power that can rip everything you have in it apart . You’ll have to build like a offshore oil platform just to stay in place and floating barges will have magnitudes of risk
