"today i'm going to try and convince you that as an industry, we basically have no idea what the f**k we're doing when it comes to evaluating agents on analytics." This is my talk from AI Council "Welcome to our data benchmark, where everything's made up and the points don't matter". It isn't about Hex at all, but rather about the challenges facing the entire data industry as we struggle to evaluate and benchmark agents on the things that actually matter, not silly pub trivia Q&A. It's pretty honest, practical and tangible and I propose some exciting experimental directions for the next gen of benchmarks here. I'm actively working in this domain so really interested to hear what people think!
