@GregorySchier the number of people getting defensive rather than acknowledging the shortcomings of the OS is whats keeping linux from mainstream adoption. Most people cannot be arsed fixing their OS while the community screams skill issue

Ah, I'm remembering why I switched to Mac ~10 years ago. I just rebooted my Framework/Omarchy setup and now the screen is just... black. I'm sure I could debug/fix it but I have work to do.

T3 Chat now has profiles! I've wanted this feature for so damn long. I have lots of different use cases for T3 Chat. Being totally honest, I don't want you guys all seeing my "personal" ones. FINALLY I HAVE A PLACE FOR THEM. You can customize your profiles for different use cases. Tell the work one what tech you use. Tell the personal one a bit about yourself. I'm honestly surprised no other chat apps have built this yet, I've been loving it. This is only DAY ONE OF LAUNCH WEEK! Lots more fun stuff coming soon :)

T3 Chat Launch Week officially starts on Monday, but we wanted to get this out first. We just overhauled how credits work on T3 Chat. No more "standard" and "premium" credits. Now you have a "usage" bar that resets every 4 hours. You'll never be more than a few hours away from sending more messages. This change is meant to align your usage with our actual costs. Using a fancy model for a simple question? Costs almost nothing. Using Gemini 3 Pro to analyze giant PDFs in 20-message threads? That will eat your usage fast. For reasonable users, this should be a SIGNIFICANT increase in how many messages you can send per month. The goal of this change was to balance out costs and reduce "fear of running out". If you're not dumping your entire codebase into T3 Chat as context, you should never have to worry about limits again. For those who previously purchased premium credits, they are still available and will be used when you go over your existing limits. We also have a small gift for those who used a lot of premium credits (check your email later today for more info) These changes unblock some very exciting things in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled for that 👀

Dear "AI bubble will pop" doomers, I hate to break it to you, but: - if the bubble pops tomorrow and OpenAI/Anthropic go bankrupt, their assets (including the frontier models and datacenter assets/rights) will just be acquired on the cheap by the big tech companies. Microsoft will continue OpenAI's mission. Amazon will continue Anthropic's mission. Google will just be Google. - when a company goes bankrupt, its key personnel don't just magically evaporate. The best researchers, the model IP, and the compute will quickly find each other again, albeit in slightly new teams and under a new corporate umbrella. - the net effect of the AI bubble popping is that progress would just be delayed by maybe a year or three. Whether you like AI or hate it, want to accelerate it or pause it, or even if you don't understand much about it at all, the world with AI *is* your future, and it is the future that you must now accept.

Most people unknowingly use the 32bit version of Discord because that's the default on their own website. Use the 64Bit one and instead of taking FOREVER to open it takes like 5 seconds.
