Anyone invented a way to "like" an email as acknowledgement yet? Replying "OK" seems overly passive aggressive.

@OliverJAsh @kettanaito Assuming your server can be configured, you could use mock-server.com and point your server to that endpoint. Test expectations can be managed programmatically via HTTP req/res and it could also work on CI too (if you'd deploy the mockserver in your pipeline)

@kettanaito That's right. My E2E tests are trying to verify the behaviour of the server (running on localhost). I just want to mock the API which the server fetches data from.

I need to mock the response for a request that happens inside my server process. Ideally I would define the mock response inside of my test, which runs in a separate process. Possible? Looking at MSW/Nock but seems you can only control mocks for requests inside the same process.

@abahgat It's getting worse with this "let's use English words" I think (or it's me getting old!)

For some obscure reason, Italians adopted "smart working" (in English) as a synonym for remote work of any kind. I wonder how they call working from an office?

95% Recruiters on Linkedin: Great profile - can you send me your CV "just to be sure"? It's 2021, what makes you think I keep up-to-date a PDF and not my online profile? 🙄 Also, no.

Parliamo dell'app IO (@IOitaliait), di cashback, day one / click day e roba simile.

Today in code land was super productive, in the zone. Do other professions have a "zone"? How do you describe "the zone" to others who don't write code?

@kadikraman Why is it important to be constantly employed from an employer perspective? And if you really don't care what they would do, why would that be an elephant in the room?

5. Address any gaps in employment I honestly won't care if you took 5 years off to raise a family, travel the world or just having a break from tech, but I will notice the gaps, and if you don't address them, they'll be the elephant in the room
