So let me get this straight.
For 37 days, Senate Democrats have blocked Republicans attempts to fully fund DHS — withholding pay from nearly 90%, of the more than 260,000 DHS employees.
This means TSA, federal law enforcement, and other critically important Americans who work every day to ensure the safety of our homeland and inner permitter have missed at least 1 paycheck since February 14th.
These Democrat Senators — most who are worth MILLONS of dollars by the way — are actively choosing to make political pawns out of hardworking people, prioritizing their personal interests over the paychecks and well being of Americans across the country.
And when given the chance to set aside their paychecks — a paycheck that is mere pocket change to the majority of Senators — they shot it down.
Senate Democrats and their party have made it crystal clear — they don’t care about the safety of our country, or the people within it.
They could not be more of-out-touch from the Americans that they were elected to represent.

My family and I are praying for the victims injured in the attack at Old Dominion University, and for the entire community.
Reports indicate that the suspect had previously been convicted of providing material support to ISIS and was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison in 2017.
Americans deserve answers about how someone with ties to a terrorist organization was allowed back on our streets. If the suspect’s prior conviction for supporting ISIL is confirmed, this once again underscores the need to take terrorism and national security threats seriously. This violence has no place in our country.
I’m so grateful for the heroic actions of the law enforcement officers and first responders who rushed to the scene to stop the attacker and assist those in need.

I am closely monitoring reports of the attack at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
Houses of worship should always be places of peace and safety. This disgusting act of violence targeting America’s Jewish community is reprehensible. Antisemitism has absolutely no place in our country.

For the third time in less than six months, TSA agents will miss a paycheck while continuing to work to keep airline passengers safe.
Now Denver International Airport is asking for donations to support these frontline workers as they struggle to make ends meet.
Why? Because @Hickenlooper and @MichaelBennet have once again chosen to prioritize political games over the paychecks of hardworking Americans by refusing to support full funding for DHS.
So here’s a simple request: put your money where your mouth is.
If you truly care about these TSA agents, start writing checks yourselves.

Rep. @GabeforColorado has been a strong ally to the Jewish community in Colorado, especially in the aftermath of the horrific antisemitic attack in Boulder in June, 2025; Rep. Evans immediately condemned the terrorist attack and has called for enhanced vetting procedures and stressed the importance of communication between state and local law enforcement in sanctuary states like Colorado.
In 2024, the RJC saw a lot of potential in Gabe Evans, a young veteran and former police officer challenging a left-wing freshman Democrat who had prevailed in 2022 by fewer than 2000 votes. The RJC Victory Fund undertook a special advertising campaign to warn voters in Colorado's 8th district that the incumbent was intent on raising their taxes. We’re proud to have played a part in Rep. Evans's exceedingly narrow win that year and we expect another photo finish as the Congressman bids for a second term.
