I’m mostly here for Palestine. I’m sick to death of western hypocrisy/double standards, ashamed to be British for this reason. Wishing peace & justice for all.

This whole McSweeney phone theft business is beginning to stink.
The timing is incredibly convenient for a government that wants to cover up.
Why did McSweeney report the theft to the police himself?Surely Downing Street security should have been immediately alerted — and they would handle it from there.
Did McSweeney want to establish a record of him reporting it?
Why did McSweeney never correct the police when it was clear they thought the theft had been in the East End and, of course, it happened in Westminster. Did McSweeney relish the confusion?
Why did McSweeney not make clear the national security significance of it being his phone to the police? Was he worried they’d then take it seriously, unlike most phones thefts?

Is This Plausible?
I am Morgan Macsweeney
I am Chief Of Staff to the Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
I hold a top-secret security clearance
I own a mobile phone
I use this phone to conduct Government Business
I use this phone to message with Lord Mandelson
My phone is tracked by GCHQ
There are protocols for officials using personal phones to conduct Government business
My communications are monitored to ensure they are not intercepted
My phone is "stolen" a month after Lord Mandelson is sacked
The police do not investigate
The phone is not tracked down
The police are too busy to track down the phone the most senior member of the Prime Minister's team - someone with a top-secret security clearance
I do not contact my service provider to block the stolen phone
I do not consider asking GCHQ to do this as a national security priority
I do not ask for a replacement sim
I do not buy a new phone
I do not activate my new phone with the new sim
I do not log-in to my Google account
I do not select "Restore"
I do not download WhatsApp
I do not recover my messages
Nobody, ever, who had their phone stolen was ever able to get their messages back.

DO YOU THINK WE ARE ALL STUPID?
It is the cover-up that will take you down

Anyone reading the transcript will conclude McSweeney deliberately obfuscated, lied about location, avoided mentioning Downing Street, and failed to say there was sensitive information on the phone. The British public are being had by Starmer and Labour.

Israeli settler violence in the occupied West Bank “is going into overdrive, it’s worse than ever,” says Norway’s Foreign Minister @EspenBarthEide.
“Settler violence, settler activity, even supported by the Israeli government, allowing settlers to take full control of territories that legally is Palestine and which even agreements that Israel has signed have recognized as to be controlled by Palestinians.”

⭕️ Israel has not prosecuted a single killing of a Palestinian civilian in the West Bank since 2020, Guardian analysis finds
No Israeli soldier, police officer, or settler has been charged for killing a Palestinian civilian in the occupied West Bank since the start of this decade, a Guardian review of legal data and public records shows. At least 1,100 Palestinian civilians have been killed there since 2020, more than a quarter of them children, according to UN data.
Dozens of former Israeli security chiefs, including two former military heads, five former Mossad and Shin Bet directors, and four ex-police commissioners, have signed a letter warning that "almost daily" attacks on Palestinians amount to "organized activity" by people "wearing uniforms, who shoot at innocent people and burn the property and homes of civilians."
They warned that failure to address what they called "Jewish terrorism" poses an existential threat to Israel.
This month alone, Israeli settlers and police killed 10 Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, including a family of four shot in the head, among them brothers aged five and seven, as they returned from a Ramadan shopping trip.
According to legal rights group Yesh Din, between 2020 and 2025:
▪️over 96% of police investigations into settler violence concluded without an indictment
▪️Of 368 cases, only eight ended in full or partial convictions
▪️Palestinians filed 1,746 complaints against Israeli soldiers in the same period, including over 600 related to killings. Less than 1% resulted in charges

Downing Street is refusing to say whether Morgan McSweeney’s WhatsApp exchanges with Peter Mandelson were lost when his phone was stolen (after Mandelson was sacked as US ambassador because of revelations about his Epstein friendship). But surely the rule in government for any official as senior as McSweeney - then chief of staff - should be that their messages are backed up to the cloud, when those messages are about government business.
If there was no backup - and if there is no government rule insisting on backups - that would be extraordinary.
Also McSweeney had an iPhone - according to the transcript of his Met police conversation - so the default position is that messages would be backed up to the cloud. So if the Mandelson messages are not there, he would have disabled this facility
