Apparently, it wasn't just Sony President and CEO Hiroki Totoki who sold stock days after PlayStation announced the end of discs. Multiple Sony executives have also been selling their shares following the backlash. But I thought Sony said the outrage was fake and people would forget about it

So hear me out, is Sony shutting down PS3 store because digital games are more affordable or are they cancelling physical games because PS3 digital store is too expensive to keep?🚀 Also, can we expect PS4 and PS5 stores to eventually be shut down with all the games reliant on an abysmal subscription service line-up for backwards compatibility, when they deem PS4 and PS5 games “too difficult to run” on PS6 or 7 or 8? What if we can get laws that protect and compel companies to keep servers running forever to protect buyer’s right to maintain permanent access to digital content? Will servers cost end up being more expensive than discs? No mater how you look at, Sony screwed up bad. And this isn’t about the future, it’s about a short-sighted attempt at a monopoly Keep up the pressure You are the customer and you got the money NO DISC 💿 NO BUY

One analyst suggested that even if half a million people cancelled their PlayStation Plus subscription in protest of Sony killing discs, it would be just a drop in the ocean for the company — which is not going to change its mind. bit.ly/4wRfo4P

Movies still come on Blu-ray, music is still pressed on vinyl and books still fill store shelves. But as Sony moves to phase out physical PlayStation releases, many gamers are asking why video games should be the first major entertainment medium to go all digital. nbcnews.com/tech/video-gam…
