As a lawyer following this Dalton Easterly prosecution, I don't see any legal basis for the judge to deny the Duel bond money--the funds are not illicitly acquired, which would be the only basis to exclude them. Everyone involved in these proceedings--the judge, the prosecutor, the defense attorney--all KNOW THIS. The state is just demanding a source hearing, and the judge is going along with it, purely as a delay and harassment technique against Dalton.

We’ve seen Dalton act as the aggressor in every situation he’s been in, based on the content he posts. Being approached by a complete stranger could make someone feel threatened in the same way that being followed by someone could. This all could’ve been avoided if he hadn’t approached the group of people.
