Prioritising Fair Rail Connectivity When Kozhikode already had a daily train to Bengaluru, what was the need to extend the dedicated Mangaluru–Bengaluru train up to Kozhikode? Such decisions raise serious questions about planning and the equitable allocation of limited railway capacity. If Kozhikode required an additional service, the Railways could have introduced a new train via Tamil Nadu instead of extending an existing train that already runs through the constrained Shiradi Ghat section. This route has severe slot limitations, and every path through it is extremely valuable. Coastal Karnataka is already struggling to secure additional train services through Shiradi Ghat due to these operational constraints. Extending an existing train beyond Mangaluru, when an alternate route via Tamil Nadu is available, only increases pressure on an already saturated corridor while regions dependent on this route continue to face connectivity challenges. A balanced approach in railway planning is essential to ensure fair connectivity for all regions. @AshwiniVaishnaw @CaptBrijesh @Tejasvi_Surya @PCMohanMP @ShobhaBJP @KotasBJP @VSOMANNA_BJP @SWRRLY

What were the outcomes of the meeting? Doesn’t the public have the right to know which member raised which issue, what concerns were discussed, and what decisions were taken? Mentioning things in general terms is of no use to anyone. Specific details and clear explanations are necessary. Transparency is essential in public matters. The issues discussed and the resolutions passed should be clearly communicated to the people to ensure accountability and trust. @VSOMANNA_BJP @GMSWR @SWRRLY

I explain the project, the compensation options, and all other important issues relating to this project through a series of videos which are being shared on all platforms: Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube etc. Here is the first one. It is introductory video.
