A man in a hot air balloon realized he was lost. He lowered his altitude, spotted a woman in a boat below and shouted to her: “Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I’d meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.” The woman consulted her portable GPS and shouted back, “You’re in a hot air balloon approximately 30 feet above ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You’re at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude." The man rolled his eyes and yelled, “You must be a Democrat." “I am,” replied the woman. “How did you know?” “Well,” answered the balloonist, “everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information. Frankly, you haven’t been much help to me.” The woman smiled and yelled, “You must be a Republican.” “I am,” shouted the balloonist. “How did you know?” “Well,” said the woman, “You don’t know where you are or where you’re going. You’ve risen to where you are thanks to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep and you expect me to solve your problem. You’re in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow now it’s all my fault.”

Senator, you are a habitual liar. You and your Democrat colleagues have voted 14 - yes, 14 times to keep TSA shut down. Spare us the faux outrage and do your job!

I spoke with over a dozen TSA agents today. None of them have been paid in 2 months. Here’s what they told me: “I had to sell my car to pay my mortgage” “I work 12 hour shifts and don’t see my kids. Now I can’t even afford to buy my family dinner.” “I’m going to have to quit this month and find another job.” “My wife had to go back to work” “I can’t afford basic groceries” “I have no more savings left.” “This makes no sense. ICE is funded through 2030. Democrats are just punishing us.” One thing became clear after today: Democrats targeting TSA is morally depraved. It hurts passengers and law enforcement alike. Politicians should NOT be able to destroy innocent people’s lives to score cheap political theater points. Democrats are evil for this. They just want to see Americans suffer to protect illegals and illegal voting.

I’m now more convinced than ever that those who are most opposed to the SAVE America Act want to cheat by allowing noncitizens to vote The arguments raised by Senate Democrats are making that increasingly clear

Sen. Hirono (D-HI): “If a non-citizen illegally votes in a federal election they could be prosecuted and sentenced up to 5 years in prison. Who’s going to commit this kind of fraud knowing they could be imprisoned?” Nobody if the SAVE America Act passes.

So Trump wants Obama’s deal back, except with his name on it. Got it.

The only secret to passing the SAVE America Act is time and willpower. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed after a 72 day filibuster. After only 6 days on the Senate floor, Democrats are already looking for an exit. Don’t let up.

This is incredibly generous. TSA agents across the country are relying on food pantries and community donations just to get by. I remain the lone Dem to vote with my Republican colleagues to fully fund DHS and get people paid. It should never come to this point.

Secretary Mike Johnson was caught on a hot mic talking to another Republican about how great it would be if the Save Act passes because they would lose about 18% of voter turnout which would be good for them since those would be people voting for Democrats instead of Republicans!

The US launched a war in Iran without preparing for the predictable oil shock. It is now forced to lift sanctions on both Russia and Iran just to stabilize the market. It is a textbook example of catastrophic strategic planning. Trump is an idiot!
