Rest in peace GM Daniel Naroditsky. More strength to his family and friends. It's been a difficult news to digest. I did not know him personally but whatever I had seen he came across as very knowledgeable, genuine and kind soul. Will always remember him as the bright chess star.

An unconfirmed update: The organisers are kindly considering to shift the Asian Continental slightly to avoid the clash with our event - much appreciated! Also, the 2025 edition of the Asian Continental looks set to take place in late April to early May in Saudi Arabia.

@FIDE_chess @AsianChess When will the Asian Continental Chess Championship take place? More than half the year over and still no news. It would be great if the official chess events for the year are announced at start of the year or at least 3-6 months in advance.
