Cycling mode share in central london is at european levels - 11%; & not far off at 8% in inner london. But we still have a long way to go. We’re continuing to expand the cycle network across our huge city (inc outer London) enabling more people to switch local trips from cars

If you’re by Westminster Bridge today and over the weekend, you may see preparation for work to upgrade the bridge to feature protected cycle tracks. This is a big improvement from the current configuration, simply painted asphalt. Work should be complete by late January 2022.

With the success of the Covid vax program getting back into the workplace is becoming more and more viable even if it's only part time. And British Railways have promised more bike spaces on trains and cheaper tickets for the part time users. More here: active-commuting.com/getting-back-i…

It's shameful that @rbkc fail to listen to residents & have refused to reinstate the Ken High St cycle lane. It's a dangerous road. They must reverse the decision & make their streets safer for people to cycle. We're not giving up. West London needs a safe E-W cycle route.

After having a stern word with myself & buying some new trainers (new stuff rly helps) my motivation is returning. This is due to a new piece of gym kit called TRX. Currently my legs and arms are aching after TRX-ing followed by a 5km run last night but I feel good!
