@adam_3443 You will need to pass account security for the agents to be able to discuss the account Adam. This is usually 3 characters from your memorable word, if we are speaking with the account holder, we some times ask designated questions instead to pass account security.

@virginmedia security breach? Phoned virgin and spoke to a 'Bilal' who asked for my security details. Yet, I was then connected to someone else, who said I was not reconnected from another person. So, who did I just speak to Virgin?

@virginmedia No. Your 'agent' asked for my memorable password, email address and phone number. After information was provided. The agent went off and another agent (female) spoke on the phone. She stated that she was the first person to pick up my call. So who was the middle man?
