In a few hours, Destiny 2 Update 8.0.5 will be rolling out across all platforms. We have a few fixes to general activities/objectives, some sandbox tuning, Exotic Class Item drop rate changes, and the launch of Solstice. We're planning to have a TWID this Thursday (Aug 8).

@JaneDohhh_ They act like the player base is an endless well of faith. We can keep giving them chances, but at the end of the day we've seen this cycle loop for 10 years straight. I wanna support the devs behind my favorite game but at some point you have to call it quits.

This is ridiculous. I know there are devs there who are just as passionate and have so much more to put into D2. And I know there are players/content creators who say "don't forget about them, they still deserve our support." I'm not denying that. But as players, it is NOT our responsibility to give them job security. And they don't have that even when things are literally outstanding! I cannot in good faith, continue to play D2 and remain quiet about the abhorrent decisions execs continue to make. They fired a woman who was due to go on maternity leave on Monday! They fired people who moved across the country to work at their dream job and have no familial support around them while they navigate this transition in their lives! They fired entire teams, gutting PLAYER SUPPORT! They don't give a flying fuck about their own people, and they don't give a fuck about you as a player. The devs do. But they're not in control and I don't trust anyone in charge there at all. They do not have our best interest in mind. We give them 10 years of our lives and now we're TOO OLD!? To spend money? To play games? What are you talking about? Fuck them.
