NEW: Quadruple amputee professional cornhole player accused of murdering someone before driving off in his Tesla. Dayton Webber, 27, who has no arms & legs and was featured on ESPN, is accused of shooting 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells during an argument. "Police say Webber was in his Tesla SUV when he shot Wells in the passenger seat," a local report from Fox 5 said. "He then pulled over and asked two backseat passengers to help pull Wells out of the car. They refused and got out of the car before calling the police." Webber then allegedly drove off with Wells' body in the car. It's completely unclear how Webber was able to fire a weapon, considering he doesn't have fingers. "It’s early in the investigation, but there’s no evidence to suggest anyone else was involved in the shooting and that he acted alone," said Diane Richardson, Charles County Sheriff's Office. I love the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the flag that flies over my house, and the men and women in uniform who’ve kept us free. I love that we’re the only nation on the planet dumb enough and brave enough to say “give me liberty or give me death” and actually mean it. I’m done being polite about it all. I went to Mass today with my oldest son (11). We went early because he wanted to see if he could be an altar boy (he's only done it a few times and only with other altar boys). We don't have a lot of kids at our Parish, and he was the only one doing it today. Our priest helped him with hints along the way, and even waited for him to catch up when he did the wrong thing or got behind. The whole time, though, our priest was smiling encouragement, and he even embarrassed him by speaking his praises during the homily. As I was watching this play out while listening to the readings at Mass today it occurred to me that our priest didn't need his help to say the Mass - he can do it just fine on his own - he WANTED my son to help (just as he would have any other young man or young lady in his position) and he was enthusiastic about it! It was like watching a microcosm of how God interacts with us. God doesn't NEED us to participate in his creation. God doesn't NEED my priest to say the Mass. God doesn't NEED a Church. God doesn't NEED the Communion of Saints. God doesn't NEED us to feed the hungry, or give drink to the thirsty, etc... But... God WANTS all of these things - he WANTS our participation in his creation, and he goes so far out of his way to include us in the ongoing process and execution of his creation that he will wait for us and provide direction, and even so far as to send his Son to fix what we broke and to give us a Church where we can cheerfully and enthusiastically bring others into the process of worshiping him - just as I saw at Mass today. *Image is not my kid.

Hi Everyone. I had an experience at adoration today, and I wanted to share it with you… I was on the fourth mystery praying through the Rosary, looking at the Monstrance. (What I felt) My eyesight started to dim, like I was about to faint, yet my body felt fine. I paid attention to this feeling, ready to tell my husband at any time we might need to go. The Monstrance became my focus. The rest of the surrounding altar, the walls, and everything on it turned a hazy warm golden hue. The Monstrance however, was very bright. It shone. I also could still see the people in the pews and the people who walked by the Monstrance in normal color. I thought maybe it was just my eyes. I rubbed them. I looked around. I looked at the stained glass. Everything else was clear as a bell. But when I came back to the Monstrance, the haze resettled. Then, it pulsated. Slowly. Outward, like ripples. The haze, that is, not the Host. Tears came to my eyes. Then, it stopped. I went up and prayed to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. I did not hear any voices, nor feel any communication. I can say that for whatever reason (maybe because it felt so otherworldly because of the ‘fainting’ feeling/not feeling)… I thought that if I were to die, I’m ready. And I’ve NEVER felt like that before. I can say, in the past, I have been less than holy about my adoration time. Too distracted. Dinner concerns, worries about outside stuff take away my time with Jesus. This experience I’m hoping will change all that. He made His presence known. And I will be forever grateful🙏🏻 (I tried to get Grok to capture what I was seeing as best as possible. He didn’t get the ripples right, and you still see the green on the sides, but it’s not bad.
