Took a long break from lifting weights and I can’t explain why. Got started back to it on Monday and the muscle soreness is next level stuff. Best bet is to start working out and stick with it forever. Also, getting old sucks.

Never forget that 33 years ago we learned the government will kill your dog, shoot your 14 year old son in the back and snipe your wife in the doorway while she holds your infant child. #RubyRidge Imagine being 14 years old, living off the grid in the Idaho woods in 1992. You’re walking your dog when suddenly he growls and *bang*, the dog is shot and killed. You look up and see a man in a Ghillie suit with a rifle pointed at you. Fear grips you. You pull your gun and fire. You’re just defending yourself. This is your home. You run back toward your parents, only to be shot in the back and killed before you can reach them. You never understand what went wrong or why. The next day, a sniper fires again. Your mother, standing in the doorway holding your baby sister, is hit in the head and killed instantly. All of this started because your father Randy Weaver, sold two sawed-off shotguns to an undercover agent and refused to become a government informant. They gave him a false court date and set up armed surveillance at your home, waiting for the moment they could escalate. Randy Weaver was a former U.S. Army Green Beret. He served in the military before moving off the grid with his family in northern Idaho. His military background added to the tension for federal authorities, because he was trained in weapons and survival, but it didn’t make him violent or a threat to anyone outside his property. After an 11 day stand off with Randy and the baby inside with two dead bodies, the government was ordered to pay millions in settlements to Randy. They were proven to be in the wrong for this deadly power trip. But that doesn’t bring back a 14 year old boy or his mother. Stay educated. Some of our history isnt taught in school for a reason. 💯

I do not care if my POTUS is a Christian. I care that Joe Biden sent innocent pro-life Christians to prison - in one case a grandmother was sentenced to 8 years. The federal judge sentencing her mocked Christianity. Trump freed them. The rest of you can moralize. I don’t care.

I genuinely don’t know whether to laugh or lose my mind anymore at this European hypocritical double standards. When it comes to Vladimir Putin, suddenly it’s Churchillian resolve. No compromise. No dialogue. Arm Ukraine to the teeth, sanction everything that moves, wreck your own energy security if necessary - because tyranny must be confronted. Fine. I actually respect the consistency of that … in isolation. But then you turn around and lecture us - us - the Gulf monarchies, Jordan and Israel, about showing restraint with Tehran? About dialogue? About coexistence? Are you serious? For forty years - forty bloody years - this regime has been waging a shadow war across the region. Militias, proxies, sleeper cells, terror networks, destabilizing entire countries - Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen - and threatening the Gulf monarchies, Jordan, and Israel nonstop. This isn’t theoretical. This isn’t abstract. This is lived reality. And yet here come Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, and the rest of the European choir, gently advising us to calm down, de-escalate, and - what was it again? - “give diplomacy a chance.” Diplomacy with who, exactly? With a system that has built its entire regional strategy on plausible deniability and proxy terror violence? You were willing to absorb inflation, energy shocks, and political backlash at home to confront Moscow. You made that choice. You said: this is the price of standing up to a tyrant. So don’t come here and tell us - after decades of being on the receiving end - that we should just sit down, smile politely, and “coexist.” Either you believe in confronting tyranny everywhere .. or you don’t. Macron, Starmer, rest of EU leaders and top bureaucrats should just STFU and spare us the self righteous sanctimonious lectures!🤐🤫

If you flip to the back of a bar journal, usually there are notices on people being disbarred or disciplined - typically for things like conflicts of interest or stealing from a client. What you never see is someone disbarred for giving his client legal advice. What Eastman did.
Kyle Cheney@kyledcheney

JUST IN: John Eastman, the conservative attorney who helped devise President Trump's last ditch strategy to overturn the 2020 presidential election, has officially been disbarred, per the California Supreme Court.:

If a credit card company suspects fraud, it immediately cuts off your ability to spend. The government should face the same restriction: it must lose the power to collect further taxes until the American taxpayer, acting as the creditor, is convinced that fraud is no longer taking place. Not. Another. Fucking. Dime.

There’s just no way Trump could be pulling all of this off on a whim. China and Russia turned their backs on Panama, Venezuela, Iran, and Cuba, and are doing nothing while Trump secures a massive chunk of the world’s energy supply lines. Do you think that’s an accident? There are two scenarios. Either China and Russia were not informed Trump was doing this and they are simply too afraid to cross the US MIL, or, they are at least somewhat in the loop, and have agreed to stand down in exchange for something. The first option would be insanity, and would be a threat to both national and global security. Our military is the most powerful on the planet by far, but pulling off this maneuver without backchannel deals would be dangerous, and risk WW3. This is not Trump’s modus operandi. Trump likes to win battles before he fights them. He likes to have the deals made before he acts. By the time the public see something rolled out, the outcome has already been decided. I think Trump has secret deals in place with both Xi and Putin. I think they agreed to stand down while Trump completes the “world’s most powerful reset”.

This is where @SecWar requires that this commander and her entire chain of command appear before him at 0800 this Friday to explain, in detail, why they have failed to follow his intent in this matter and how they intend to remedy their failure. The commander should be advised that her deputy must accompany her and ready to assume command. If you don’t stamp out this kind of disrespectful refusal to comply with your orders, you have set a standard in which you are no longer a leader. You are a subordinate. I don’t see @PeteHegseth playing that game. cc @SeanParnellASW

🚨Heavy Handed removal of retiree benefits: A retired LCDR was just banned from all Navy bases and facilities in the Hampton Roads area for accidentally having a personal weapon in his vehicle at the base gate checkpoint. The retired naval officer has a Concealed Carry Permit. He also followed all directions provided to him by base security while voluntarily discussing his CC permit and noting that he had mistakenly had the weapon in his vehicle. Security suggested he turn around and come back without the weapon. He did so gladly and immediately returned back through the same gate (without the weapon of course) while the same security guards offered apologies for the inconvenience. The subsequent ban was an unexpected shock and a grave heavy-handed response to an honest mistake. The JAGs and Commander at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek have unilaterally removed all retiree benefits (except retiree pay) from an honorable man. He can no longer attend base functions, work a job on the base, use MWR facilities, or the commissary (military grocery store). Based on Secretary @PeteHegseth’s desire to ensure Second Amendment rights are defended by our Institutions, and that those exercising these rights are not unlawfully weaponized against, I pray this ban is quickly reversed.

Great analysis Amazing diplomatic method
Shanaka Anslem Perera ⚡@shanaka86

Seven sentences. Five audiences. Every word is a weapon aimed at a different target. This is the most compressed piece of strategic signaling in the history of social media diplomacy. On April 15, Trump posted: “China is very happy that I am permanently opening the Strait of Hormuz. I am doing it for them, also - And the World. This situation will never happen again. They have agreed not to send weapons to Iran. President Xi will give me a big, fat, hug when I get there in a few weeks. We are working together smartly, and very well! Doesn’t that beat fighting??? BUT REMEMBER, we are very good at fighting, if we have to - far better than anyone else!!!” Decode every sentence. “I am permanently opening the Strait of Hormuz.” The blockade is not a blockade. It is a service. Trump reframes the entire operation from aggression to provision. The navy enforcing interdiction is now the navy “opening” the strait. And “permanently” signals to oil markets, Asian importers, and Iran that the US intends to remain the guarantor of Hormuz transit indefinitely. Not as leverage. As architecture. “I am doing it for them, also - And the World.” China imports over 50 percent of its energy through Hormuz. Trump positions the blockade as a gift to Beijing. The country whose Iranian oil he just cut off is now the beneficiary. Bessent said hours earlier: “They can get oil. Not Iranian oil.” Trump completes the sentence: and I am the one making sure they can. “This situation will never happen again.” A doctrine in five words. The Hormuz crisis, Iran’s closure, the tolls, the mines, the 46 days of disruption will not recur because the United States is establishing permanent enforcement. No treaty. No negotiation. A unilateral declaration of perpetual chokepoint control posted on Truth Social. “They have agreed not to send weapons to Iran.” Unverified. China’s MFA called the arms reports “entirely fabricated” hours earlier. But the sentence forces Beijing into a trap. If China confirms, it concedes publicly. If China denies, it implies the weapons were under consideration. Silence reads as confirmation. Every response validates the claim. The rhetorical structure is designed to be unfalsifiable in real time. “President Xi will give me a big, fat, hug when I get there in a few weeks.” The May 14 to 15 summit confirmed in the most disarming language possible. “Big, fat, hug” humanizes the relationship for domestic audiences while signaling to Beijing that Trump views the summit as a victory lap. The framing shapes expectations before a single agenda item is discussed. “Doesn’t that beat fighting???” The carrot. Three audiences: To China, cooperation beats confrontation. To Americans, this president ended a war with a deal. To Iran, fighting is the alternative and you are losing. “BUT REMEMBER, we are very good at fighting, if we have to - far better than anyone else!!!” The stick. The hug is conditional. The cooperation is optional. The carrier strike group is not. The same paragraph offers peace and threatens war, and both are credible because the blockade proves both simultaneously. One post. Seven sentences. Five audiences: China, Iran, domestic voters, oil markets, and the May summit negotiating table. Every word measured. Every ambiguity deliberate. Every claim unfalsifiable in the window that matters. Trump did not write a tweet. He wrote a treaty draft disguised as a social media post.

The Founding Fathers wanted a Government run by the people. You were to leave the private sector, serve in Congress and then return to being a citizen. Staying in the House or Senate for 50 years is not how it's supposed to work. This needs to be fixed!

In the least surprising news of the day the Dundee knife girl who went viral a while back has given her testimony in court. She was being sexually harassed and assaulted by a gypsy brother and sister. Not shocking, what was shocking were the huge amount of people who tried to gaslight everyone into thinking the little girl was the villain.

The video is of tweens begging the man recording them to leave them alone. It’s clear the girls have been abused and/ or harassed before. But right off the bat if a 12 yo girl is screaming at the camera man to “leave me alone, I’m only 12.” We can get a pretty clear picture of who is in the wrong. Then the camera man is revealed to be a gypsy. One who has a lot of social media depicting himself as exactly the type of man who would harass 12 yo girls as they walk down the street.
