cancel your chatgpt subscription and delete your openclaw slop. i'm serious. go on ebay and buy a used RTX 3060 for the price of two months of pro. or check your drawer because half of you already own one and forgot about it. install hermes agent from @NousResearch. one framework, 31 tools, file operations, terminal, browser, code execution. connect it to your local llama.cpp server running qwen 3.5 9B Q4. total download is 5.3 gigs. that's it. that's the whole setup. every experiment you hesitated to run on API. every project you shelved because you didn't want your data on someone else's server. every late night idea you didn't test because you hit your rate limit. all of that is gone. runs 24/7 on your electricity. your machine. your data never leaves your house. connect it to telegram if you want it on your phone. hook up whatever tools you need. the model thinks at 29 tok/s with 128K context and it never bills you. qwen 3.5 9B and one RTX 3060 is the setup most people will never try because they've been trained to believe intelligence has to come from a datacenter. it doesn't. it runs on 12 gigs of VRAM under your desk right now. stop giving your thinking away for free.

Using Openclaw is still 10/10 fun for me. I can't believe this is a real thing, it's more fun than any videogame and getting 10x the amount of work done than I used too. Crazy.

For Openclaw, Opus 4.6 is just on another level. I know everyone hates @anthropic these days but every other alternative, even Codex on the highest thinking level, sucks compared to Opus.

If your Openclaw breaks with the latest update V2026.2.21, don’t panic. Open Claude code (or codex/opencode) and literally say “my Openclaw install broke please fix” and it will just diagnose the problem and fix it. Recommended to use Opus for this though.

Switched my entire Anthropic usage on OpenClaw to use the Agents SDK now. Hopefully I don't get auth issues anymore.

I genuinely believe we're watching SaaS die in real time and most people still don't see it.. $1 trillion wiped from software stocks since January 2026 and its just getting started.. SaaS multiples collapsed from 18.5x at the covid peak to 4.8x today and in the same time the AI market went from $50B to $539B and it's heading to $3.5 trillion by 2033 if not sooner the death cross hits around 2027.. that's when AI market trajectory fully overtakes SaaS valuations on the chart the reason is simple.. the per-seat model dies when 10 agents replace 100 humans and no seats left to sell every SaaS tool you're paying $50/seat a month for is about to get replaced by an agent that costs $0.003 per task.. chatgpt opened the door in 2022, claude opus 4 made agentic AI real in 2025 and now multiagent coordination systems like openclaw are making it deployable and accessible to everyone.. every step on that chart the tech gets more autonomous and the SaaS line drops further.. not saying every saas will die but the companies that were built entirely on per-seat pricing and no real data advantage are the ones exposed. tbh I don't think most founders see it yet, not because the data isn't there, but accepting it means everything they built needs to be rethought..

@wesbos Point your Claude code (or codex) into your .openclaw folder and ask it to setup QMD for you. Will do it flawlessly

Anyone using openclaw with a codex plan, you’ll need to also setup embeddings as codex does not come with them. Easiest way is set an open ai API key in your env to use text-embeddings-3. This costs pennies

If you’re using your Claude oauth with Openclaw, I think you’re asking for pain at this point. With rumours of permanent bans from anthropic services I don’t think it’s worth it at all. Opus is still the best model and it would be a killer to lose access.

Also btw, people on Reddit saying minimax is a good alternative to Opus have no idea what they’re talking about. It’s like giving your openclaw a lobotomy, almost useless. And it fails at tasks and lies that it did them, $50 wasted

If you mess up your Openclaw install, it’s easy to fix. Open Claudecode (or codex, whatever) in the openclaw directory, tell it you broke it, and it’ll fix it for you. Like magic, worked every time for me. I only tried this with Opus but I’m sure sonnet and codex would work too.
