Last week @USTreasury imposed sanctions on the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) for blatant violations of the peace accords between DRC and Rwanda, signed last year in Washington. The sanctions extend to any asset for which RDF holds 50% or more ownership. This likely includes Armée Patriotique Rwandaise Basketball Club (APR BBC), which according to the BAL is owned and funded by the RDF.
