The biggest loser of this is Max, most of his overtakes are of legal “brute force”. He doesn’t have the wheel to wheel skills of the others

Annoyingly,I think it's mostly the case of the figurehead, like politics and most sport is. And in that case, it's entertaining. But if you aren't, and the pure sport is your thing..bad

Nether Kellet is typical of many villages locally. Seems a busy little when you drive through tbh. Villages need a shop, a pub & ideally a school. When the shop goes, a big part of the village dies. It just becomes housing. See also Over Kellet.

Nether Kellet "isolated"? I'm struggling with that idea 😆 I can see some old folks might find it lonely. It's a great shame the village shop closed, but I think the Limeburners Arms is still trading. There isn't a lot there tbh.
