@sonasingh46 @IndiGo6E @DGCAIndia You clearly mentioned ‘as per their policy’, which means it was a piece of information already stated before you chose to fly IndiGo. Now what was the joke? ‘The consumer safety’ or you yourself who chose to fly the airline knowing possible consequences.

My sister flew with @IndiGo6E and they broke her bag. The bag is a Mokobara bag that I got at around 8k. They are offering her a safari bag or 4500 INR as per their policy. What kind of policy is this. Consumer safety is a joke in this nation. @DGCAIndia ??

Less than 10% rejected take-offs happens at + 100 kts Flight manuals allow it only for emergency scenarios like an engine failure or 🔥 Runway 28/10 length is around 3,800 metres & in this case less than half of the runway was used, leaving little chance of an excursion With hot conditions , required V1 speed (at which pilots cant reject a takeoff) will be higher ➡️ So despite above +100 kts, there was sufficient safety margin Runway 28/10 was shut for around 2 hrs probably to allow the brakes to cool & inspection of runway as there could be debris of tyre from the braking Overall, a challenging situation handled extremely well by all the professionals making it normal Such competence make #aviation the safest mode of transport Greetings on Pilots day✈️

We've Seen So Many New Liveries in the Past Few Years, Yet, The Thai Airways Livery Introduced in 2005 Remains my Personal Favourite 😍🇹🇭 The Bright Purple Works Incredibly Well with the Thai Logo & Gold and Pink Accents, Making the Livery Look as Young as it did 20 Years Back!

This isn't AUH-YYC. This is India-YYC. 45% of addressable O&D to Calgary originates in India. East and North Asia are mostly non-addressable for EY. DEL-YYC alone is 120K. AUH-YYC is 3K pax. KLM and AC (mostly via LHR with AI) are the only convenient connections for now. #avgeek

Air India London Heathrow Delhi flights have been disrupted over the last few days: AI2015 of Monday 15th Landed at Heathrow at 23:27. So missed curfew (Partly AI's choice). Consequently, Monday's AI2016 got rescheduled as AI164 on Tuesday, 16th Note: AI164 was scheduled for 11:30 & departed at 14:03. AI 2018, originally scheduled for Tuesday, 16th, was rescheduled to AI4018 on Wednesday, 17th. Note: Most likely due to crew duty constraints from the late arrival of AI2015 on the 15th. AI2016 of 16th Tuesday, was cancelled. Note: The original plan was for AI2016 on the 16th to go as scheduled. Maybe VT-TSE went tech at Heathrow. AI161 on the 18th (Thursday) is Cancelled. Note: Probably due to A350 VT-JRE going tech at EWR. AI162 of the 18th is being operated by B787-9 VT-TSE, Note: VT-TSE was supposed to operate AI 2016 on Tuesday, the 16th. When it rains, it often pours. This too at the height of peak season for LHR-DEL flights.

An overview of Ethiopian's 🇪🇹 India 🇮🇳 operation, with @airnetworkindia Addis Ababa is well and truly India's gateway to Africa, ET is the largest carrier on the India-Africa market Markets like YYZ, JED prove that at the right price, Indians are willing to take a longer route.

@m4rspk More flights depart in a minute in India than in Pakistan in a year. Illiterate, debilitated economies shouldn’t comment on 3rd biggest airline market in the world. Schmuck.
