𝗦𝗘𝗡. 𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗗𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗥'𝗦 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡. 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has been telling NATO, telling Trump, and telling the British people that the UK is finally getting serious about defense. 2.6% of GDP by 2027. 3.5% by 2035. Born again on defense spending after decades of freeloading on American security guarantees. Senator John Kennedy read the actual report. The cash is backloaded. Starmer isn't planning to spend the real money until the 2030s — four years from now, minimum. By which point, as Kennedy notes, Starmer will almost certainly no longer be Prime Minister. He's making a promise he won't have to keep, on a timeline he won't be around to answer for. Then there's the inflation problem. Defense production costs are rising sharply right now because so many countries are simultaneously trying to rearm. When you factor in defense inflation between now and when Starmer actually plans to start spending, Kennedy's math shows the UK would end up delivering roughly £24 billion — about $32 billion — less in real defense capability than the headline numbers suggest. 𝘛𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥. His numbers guys knew about it. This wasn't an oversight. This is the same UK that just told Trump it couldn't send ships to help secure the Strait of Hormuz — the waterway that carries 20% of the world's oil — because it needed to consult its team first. The same UK that has spent decades letting American taxpayers underwrite its security while its own military atrophied. Announcing big numbers with small print isn't reform. It's the same sleight of hand that got Europe into this mess in the first place. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀.

When you combine fees on EVs that many states already charge then add this very high federal fee EVs will be paying multiple higher fees then liquid fuel vehicles pay in fuel taxes. EVs should pay fair amount but not as high as many are already paying. Classic government technic of going just after a smaller voting group so as to keep their larger voting block from being upset.

NEWS: US House transport committee head wants to collect EV fees for highway repairs. Representative Sam Graves, said he plans to take up a multi-year bill in early April. Last year, House Republicans proposed a new $250 annual fee on EVs and $100 for hybrid EVs but it was not included in a massive tax and spending bill. The current five-year surface transportation law expires on September 30. "We would like to get money from EVs," Graves said at a U.S. Chamber of Commerce infrastructure event, saying he expects the five-year bill to include $500 billion to $550 billion in funding for highways and bridges. usnews.com/news/us/articl…

Oil is a world commodity. Price changes affect the whole world. Unwise to have China participate in military operations. Just gives them the ability to study our military coordination, techniques and weapon capabilities at a close range. Request was may have been floated just to further expose China’s support of a terrorist state because they like the turmoil it cause for the West and distracts from their move towards Taiwan and other Asia countries.

Ken Cao-The China Crash Chronicle
The U.S. doesn’t rely on Hormuz oil. China does. If Washington protects the Strait alone, China gets a free ride. That violates “America First.” So Trump demanded Beijing pay up: money, ships, commitment. China said no. Trump delayed the visit. Now China faces a brutal dilemma: Join U.S.-led escort missions and betray Iran, or refuse and risk tariffs, trade war escalation, and energy vulnerability. Meanwhile, oil prices are rising, negotiations are stalling, and Europe may side with Washington. If that happens, the U.S. effectively controls the choke point of China’s energy lifeline.
Clash Report@clashreport

Trump said China should help reopen the Strait of Hormuz, arguing Beijing depends heavily on oil flowing through the waterway. “I think China should help too because China gets 90 per cent of its oil from the Straits.” He warned he wants Beijing’s position before his planned summit with Xi Jinping, suggesting the meeting could be postponed if China does not act. “We’d like to know before that. We may delay.” Source: FT

@MunstrSweep @Osint613 @grok The US spends $5 to $6 billion for đèn sẽ in Japan. Japan pays $1.4 to $1.6 in some hosts costs. Still a large sized expenditure by the US.

@Osint613 the US isn’t being altruistic with the deployments of American troops. They receive billions a year from countries for “protection”. It’s a business transaction. @grok please confirm if this is true

President Trump: “You have to remember, we have 45,000 troops in Japan, 45,000 in South Korea, and 50,000 in Germany.” We defend all these countries, and then I ask them: “Do you have any minesweepers?” They say, “Well, would it be possible for us not to get involved?”

I had an issue late last week where a traffic light started to change with the car close to the intersection and hit brakes hard. Then one second later changed its mind and accelerated. The hesitation cause the car to exit the last quarter of the intersection under the read light. Never had seen this. Maybe a one time occurrence hitting the light change right at the most difficult decision time? I also had also had a couple of extremely poor navigation choices late last week. The system took a short 3 mile drive and route it to a much longer 6 mile route.

Something changed over the last day or so with FSD v14.2.2.5… After a few thousand miles without an intervention, I had two last night at stop sign intersections where the car did not want to proceed unless I pressed the accelerator (if I let off too soon it actually tried to decelerate). @TechOperator and @nikkharris have also experienced this behavior in completely different geos which makes me believe Tesla may have modfiied model weights. Anybody else notice anything out of the blue with FSD the last day or two? @tesla @tesla_ai @aelluswamy

@DJSnM @elonmusk The actual landing had the advantage of a highly train pilot to control the land. Current unmanned landers have to do it all by computer. I don’t know ….. are future manned mission landings all automated or human flown too?

Over the past year, Iran has exported 1.65 million barrels of crude oil per day. Today, they are loading 8 million barrels at Kharg Island. If they don't, then there is a risk that the storage tanks on shore will hit capacity and the country will have to wind down its oil production the way Iraq recently announced. #OOTT #Iran #Tankers

Recently returned from a trip to Asia, and on one flight home I flew on a 747-8. It had been years since I’d been on a 747. It was a very comfortable flight, even with some turbulence throughout. The aircraft had a very well-maintained interior—it was very clean and showed no signs of wear. The interior lighting wasn’t the modern multicolor LED style, and the in-flight entertainment system had a limited number of movies compared to newer jets, but it felt so comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. Thanks, @KoreanAir_KE!

Unfortunately, the 🇩🇪 German media is not only poorly informed about Tesla, or to put it mildly, they do not want to be informed and provide balanced and comprehensive information. Instead they rather tend very strongly to represent a false opinion, which they try to confirm with a narrow-minded perspective and selective discussions of topics that they believe confirm their obviously false assumptions by leaving all other facts out. They may not know better but that is no excuse for the ÖRR which all German citizens are forced to pay for. It is sad that this is even happening in media outlets that many Germans still trust in, such as ZDF, ARD, and ÖRR. There are a few exceptions with some outlets and formats but you almost need to search for them. Anyone who is a little informed about Tesla knows in a second how totally flawed these reports and articles are but sadly many in Germany are not even a little informed about Tesla. My recommendation is to follow different channels if you want to learn about Tesla, including channels from Europe and especially from the US. My recent interview on David from @teslawelt (recorded yesterday) will be published shortly, is in German, and may be helpful for some to understand why Tesla is actually doing very well and will continue to grow and flourish.
Tobias Goebel (Unsupervised)@tpgoebel

German public television (@ZDF, no longer on X, guess why) published a new piece on Tesla last night that AGAIN distorts facts, lies, leaves out important details, and focuses on negative things… WTAF? 🤬😡😤 And here they are, wondering why more and more people say goodbye to tradition media and turn to citizen journalists like myself. In my video, I show their segment and tear it to pieces. Have fun. (Turn on auto translated captions if you don’t speak German.) youtu.be/CQLxYThecIo?si…

Under the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986, specifically 8 U.S.C. § 1324a(a)(4), it is unlawful—and treated as equivalent to directly hiring an unauthorized alien—for any person or entity to use a contract, subcontract, or exchange (entered into, renegotiated, or extended after November 6, 1986) to obtain the labor of an alien in the United States knowing that the alien is unauthorized to work. Hiring a subcontractor that uses undocumented workers is also against the law. She seems to be admitted she did that.

Contractor in Minnesota fears she’ll now go out of business because of mass deportations. Listen to how she and the reporter dance around the issue that hiring illegals was wrong and she now deserves to fail. She says shes been in business for 15 years. Has she been hiring illegals this whole time? That seems like it’d be a crime. (wcconews on TT)
