@HelmetAddict @EmptySeatsPics I usually go to 6-8 games a year. The baseball hasn’t been good for a while. Combine that with a 75% increase in parking costs, and a large increase in food and refreshment costs. It’s harder to justify the price if the product isn’t good. I hate it but that’s my reality.

With Danilo Gallinari in town, fun to think back on that 2019-20 Thunder team that exceeded all expectations to win the equivalent of 50 games (before the Covid shutdown) and the 5-seed. Chris Paul, a young SGA, a young Lu Dort, Gallo, Steven Adams -- that group took the Rockets to 7 games and represented OKC so well in the bubble. A great Thunder team to remember.

My wife Amy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and starts chemo therapy tomorrow afternoon. We have felt really encouraged by our community and feel God’s presence through it all. Pray for strength for her and she starts this journey. We believe she will have complete healing, but it will be a long road. I’m thankful for all that have reached out in support of her. @wildbob420 @WestPineBills That’s interesting. The people I talk to don’t share that sentiment. I don’t think SLU does a good enough job of promoting their product, as Saint Louis’ team.

It’s because Midtown isn’t the safest place to park & folks don’t like the extra expense that comes with that. Fix the crime in the area & all SLU sports will see a bump. FWIW…I don’t feel incredibly uncomfortable going to games down there, but have heard differently from many folks.

Best team since Majerus. Need to change something to get people in the arena. Going to be impossible to build sustained success without more butts in seats.

Spoke to several coaches this week — from OCs to RB and WR coaches — and three of them told me it was stressed in meetings that if a player lets go of the ball early before crossing the goal line, there will be repercussions in-game - including being taken out - and potentially in future weeks as well. The message is clear: finish the play, get a couple yards into the endzone, then celebrate.
