Check out our latest preprint @GoogleQuantumAI pushing the surface code to the next level!
- Below threshold (Λ > 2)
- Distance-7 logical qubit, 0.0014 error per cycle, >2x better than physical qubits
- Explore 10^-10 error regime with repetition codes

🔔New IceCube results to be published in @ScienceMag tomorrow!
For the first time, IceCube found evidence of high-energy neutrino emission from NGC 1068, an active galaxy in the constellation Cetus and one of the most familiar and well-studied galaxies. #IceCubeNGC1068

🔔📜IceCube paper submitted to ApJ! We looked for lower-energy events in the direction of the high-energy alert events and searched in different time scales. We constrained the abundance of astrophysical neutrino sources in the universe. Story ➡️icecube.wisc.edu/news/research/…

@mmitchell_ai @huggingface My understanding was librarians & the ALA have a lot of training on removing biases in material collection, which could have an impact on removing bias in supervised learning training data, and also that ML techniques are helpful for librarians to find relevant resources

@mmitchell_ai @huggingface My partner is in school to get a master's in library science, and just this morning handed in a term paper on how librarians and ML researchers could each learn a lot from each other!
So cool to see this position and all the lovely things coming from @huggingface ‼️
