@soni_jyoti_ In what world does any report take 2 hours to run? Unless you are manually pulling data, from dozens of sources, then organizing said data manually…running a report takes seconds. And Gen Z wouldnt know how to manually pull data. They have had automation since they were born.
English

Boss: Before you leave today, I need you to run the project report.
Gen Z: I can get that first thing tomorrow. It’s already 5:10 p.m.
Boss: I need it before the end of today.
Gen Z: If running your report early was so urgent, why was I not made aware of this earlier? The report will take about two hours to run and then another 30 minutes for me to organize the data before it’s ready to send off.
Boss: Great, get that over to me by 9 p.m. at the latest.
Gen Z:↓↓↓

@_AnonHater_ Birria tacos. 3 times a week in this house. Kids don’t care for them so I make them chicken quesadillas. But the husband and I are on a taco kick

@shaelynb @NBCNews Fairly simply. I assume she had a cervical cerclage. This procedure requires modified bedrest or it has a much higher chance of failure. The fetus was not far enough along to live outside the womb. Forcing her to break bedrest, caused the cerclage to fail and to deliver too early
English

@NBCNews So how did they prove the baby definitely would have lived if the mom got to work from home? Since that is absolutely impossible to do. Especially with a high risk pregnancy! Terrible loss for the poor parents, but never should have seen a courtroom.
English

An Ohio-based company that initially balked at granting a mom's request to work from home during a high-risk pregnancy has been found liable for the newborn's death and ordered to pay $22.5 million in damages. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/o…

@RepSwalwell Now they will know what it’s like to live in let’s say….Missouri. Democrats have almost no representation and the Republican majority overturns everything that legally passed on the ballot. Our votes do not matter. Hell, even republican votes do not matter here.

This is the most preposterously partisan gerrymander imaginable: 10 D / 1 R, ie 91% of Virginians would have D reps! For background, Virginia had a GOP governor until last month, Trump got 46% in 2024, and current delegation is 6 D / 5 R (45% of Virginians have an R rep now).

@ChildHealthhero @Dressme32 It can also be metabolic disorders such as MCADD, these are typically tested for during newborn screening, however those tests do not come back for a 4 days to a week. My boys both have MCADD, but in a weird lucky way, were premature so they were monitored very closely
English

@Dressme32 For this baby, he wasn't fed for over 8 hours. Other factors like prematurity or low birth weight, stress from prolonged labour, babies born to diabetic mothers, infection and exposure to cold can also cause it

I visited a friend who had just given birth in the hospital. She had just woken up, so I joked that the baby must have kept her awake all night.
She smiled and said, “No, he slept all through the night.”
Her MIL advised her not to wake him, so he could “learn” to sleep at night.
I immediately asked her to put him to breast, but something was wrong. He wasn’t crying, sucking and barely moved. When I touched him, his body felt cold.
I raised an alarm, the nurses rushed in. His blood sugar was dangerously low.
This baby wasn’t calm, he had hypoglycemia and was shutting down. Urgent attention saved his life.
Newborns don’t always cry when they’re in danger. Sometimes, they become quiet.
Low blood sugar in newborns is life-threatening and often silent.
Watch out for these danger signs:
⚠️ Too sleepy or hard to wake for feeds
⚠️ Poor or no sucking
⚠️ Cold body, hands, or feet
⚠️ Weak or absent cry
⚠️ Little or no movement
❗This is NOT a “good” or “peaceful” baby.
❗Newborns must feed frequently, day and night.
❗Do NOT delay feeds to train a newborn.
If you notice these signs, go to the hospital immediately.
Early feeding and urgent treatment save lives.💝

@lindsaybitcoin Depends on the commute. My current job, I am fully remote. But my office is 1.5 hours away. So if they doubled my salary for 5 days a week in office, I would pass. 3 hours of my day commuting would leave zero time with my children during the week. My priority will always be them

@DevonESawa Very likely Silver Dollar City in Branson. It’s not exactly close to Dollywood, but there is the Dolly’s Stampede show in Branson as well.

@PatronGoldQueen @PopBase Because tube removal reduces risk of uterine cancer significantly? some women choose to stop having children, even while being in a committed relationship, especially after a certain age. Birth control is not always effective

@brett0769 @mariashriver Civil suits can proceed regardless of merit if you push hard enough.
English

@ajtdenney @mariashriver True. Just as true that unfounded suits are dismissed.
English

@brett0769 @mariashriver That is incorrect. He was seeking BILLIONS. 16 million is just them throwing pennies at him to be able move on. A lengthy litigation would have cost them far more than 16 million. Companies weigh cost of litigation against what they can settle for and choose the lesser
English

@mariashriver Everybody that believes they've done no wrong ponies up $16 million dollars to compensate for the nothing they did.

@LangmanVince People join cults because they are manipulated into believing the promises. Some, wake up once their own personal redline is crossed. All cults lose members when those redlines are crossed. Only the weak remain.

@MyHeartAmerica @WallStreetApes Data obfuscation, can always be tracked to an individual if a person is clever enough. While it does allow for a certain, and legal, layer of protection it is never 100%. DNA is such a sensitive piece of data, it can always be traced to an individual.
English

@WallStreetApes Is the data connected to our names? Or is it the the DNA data connected to John and Jane Does?

@kvetchbian Funny. I tested this and used AI to write an entire paper. Grammarly said it was 96% AI. Turnitin said 2% AI. I got an A on it. That’s the problem with AI being used to determine AI. Human oversight is needed in all instances. Sounds like your college and professors are lazy.
English

@_mementomari I implore people to read the data privacy statements of any platform they use that utilizes AI. With congress attempting to bar states from enacting any regulations on data privacy, AI will have free reign to do with your information what they will.

I don't care if the tech bros think it makes their service better, I want to be able to opt out. I want to be able to use Google search without consuming extra water for an AI summary I didn't ask for.

I wish people were as mad about AI being added without our consent to email, Word, etc. as they were that time Apple dropped a free U2 album on us.

@enemycharlie The height thing has always boggled my mind. I’ve dated both tall and short men. These women have been missing out on a short man who’s packing. I’ve also found shorter men are more attentive. Taller men tend to be more selfish. If you wanna finish every time, find a short man
English

not to side with the men here, but why do women 5'3" and under have such strong preferences for men 6ft+. you are a hobbit, 5'8" is tall enough. you can't even tell when your 5'8" boyfriend is lying about being 6'0" because you're so short.

Tinder is implementing a height filter for users. The change will allow women to generally filter out men below their preferred height. Follow: @AFpost

@skonkas0nly @leemytime This depends on the state. State laws vary on when final payment is required. Same goes with termination. Some state laws are that they can terminate employment for any reason or no reason. Proving that the termination was due to the accommodation request is a big feat.

@SocietyQueen999 Honest answer? Both were surprise babies. Wasn’t trying, didn’t want kids. But I didn’t try not to get pregnant either. Of course I adore my semen demons but it wasn’t a deep desire of mine prior to having them.
