A guy who is currently 44 years old. He refused to marry because he earns 60k as a school teacher. He is staying with his brother because he cannot afford to rent a place. He said he would rather remain single forever than bring a wife and children into suffering. He doesn't do gambling, or waste money on unnecessary things. Should he be encouraged to marry?

The homeless man outside my University had a PhD in literature. I only found out because I dropped my book walking past him one day. He picked it up, looked at the cover, and said, "Ah, Virginia Woolf. Have you read her essays on consciousness?" One medical bankruptcy and a series of cascading disasters later, he's been on that corner for three years. "The difference between us," he said, "is about six months of bad luck." I think about that every time I complain about my problems.

@NonIndutiae @hell_line0 Yes. I was working in a transcription pool. There were shifts at that time. They actually had a 24 hour coverage. Lots of associates stay at the downtown law firms until 1 or 2 a m. Some just sleep on their couches. No kidding.

Yep. One day I was leaving the law firm I worked a 3 to 11 shift. I saw what I presumed was a stewardess rolling her bag to the same bus stop i was going to. We had ten minutes to chat. I asked her where she was goinG. She told me the 528 bridge. I wasn’t familiar so I asked her to repeat it. Then I found out she was a receptionist at the law firm I worked for. The blue suit was for a law firm. She said she had left an abusive situation and rent and utilities were about 3000 and she did t have it. So until she could save her Pennies she was living under a bridge. And that dispelled any of my beliefs about homelessness. It has nothing to do with iq or work ethic. Homelessness goes across the board.

Fifteen-year-old Johnny Gray confronts one of the two white boys who tried to force him and his sister, Mary, from the sidewalk as they walked to school in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 16, 1958. The most haunting photos ever taken: bit.ly/46yA996

It is estimated that there are presently about 623 unresolved banking disputes worth UGX2 trillion before Uganda’s Commercial Court. Behind these numbers are frozen assets, stalled businesses, constrained lending, and a rising cost of credit that affects every borrower. In this opinion @PhillipKarugaba and @pturinawe1 of ENSafrica Uganda argue that this is not just a legal bottleneck, but a structural economic problem—and make the case for why Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) could unlock capital, reduce litigation delays, and transform access to credit in Uganda. 🔗 Read their full expert opinion here: ceo.co.ug/alternative-di… @ENSlaw #BankingDisputes #ADR #Uganda #FinancialSector #CreditAccess #EconomicGrowth

The Bennard Family pictured together shortly before both children were attacked and f*tally mauled by the two family dogs on October 5, 2022. In October 2022, two young children, a 2-year-old and a 5-month-old, were k*lled by their family’s two pit bulls in Shelby County, Tennessee. Their mother, Kirstie Bennard, was critically injured during a 10-minute struggle to protect them. The dogs had been with the family for eight years without previous incident, they were euthanized by animal control shortly after. Bennard survived the attack with extensive physical injuries.

Have you seen how your relatives treat your baby each time they meet you? Everyone wants to carry and play with them! Well ask orphans if that love stays if it’s forever! In fact forget orphans, send your children to stay with your relatives for good and tell me if it’s the same!
Sonia@BalogunSonia4

Why do side chicks know how to treat a man better than their actual wives do? I really want to know. 🤔
