Mets postgame notes 02/28:
- Tobias Myers looked sharp (3 IP, 1 R, 2 hits, 4 Ks, BB). He’s gonna be a huge part of the big league roster whether that’s in the rotation or BP
- Austin Warren now has 3 scoreless outings to begin his spring… 12 pitch inning. Could contribute a lot in the big league pen
- Kimbrel got his first action of the spring and it was rough. He gave up a run and walked a few guys but limited the damage. Will be interesting to see how well he pitches as Spring goes on
- Gerbert and Garcia both looked very sharp in quick, effective outings
- Morabito continues to impress… another xbh today for him
- Tauchman responded to Melendez’s big day yesterday by going 1/2 with an xbh.
- Swaggy V drove a ball off the wall for an rbi double… opposite field as well (very good sign). I’m hopeful Vientos can get back to his 24 production or at least much closer to it
- First pitch tomorrow 1:10 @ Clover Park. Clay Holmes will be on the bump

Not a bad picture in the dark at 8:47 at night. Eddie Busque is THE MAN when it comes to grooming and grading ball fields. EA SPORTS FIELDS get it done. I cannot thank Eddie enough for the work they put in on our field the last two days. CANNOT WAIT for February 16th to get here!!!! IT’S BASEBALL SEASON BABY!!!!
