@single_soul1 Most state houses are open to public in certain timings. But few like New Maharashtra Sadan only allow fellows from the state or govt. Officials to enter the same. Nevertheless the idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj visible from outside is a must to witness 👌

@indojournals there is clear difference in each overhead boundary in the original work of the illustrator; even in the ones where the design seems same but there is clear cut differences if looked closely. While in other there r no differences. Nevertheless all I’m saying prefer original-art

@indojournals Odissi hair are actually tied up in a bun. Nevertheless Why this seems to be AI generated ? If u look closely, the hands are not drawn properly. This is the actual work by the illustrator.

The wooden mask making craft of local artisans has been given GI tag. I want such masks to become a source of income for them. We can use these masks as decorations .

Several Tamtas of Tamta Mohalla in Almora, for instance, possess little to no awareness of the distinct geographical identity associated with their traditional Tamta craft.

@DC48469195 @Bakwabaasa One thing that I have noticed in major national parks/places is that they try to sell stuff such as fridge magnets,keychains,generic instead the local art. In this process of commercialisation not only the inherited art form is vanishing but also there is no rozi roti for artist.

@DC48469195 @Bakwabaasa either you will find few groceries items available or only the mentioning of GI tag products at one or two sites. There is a man from uk who exports ringal craft and is supporting the local artisans. I tried finding site of his but I guess he has some other channels of doing it.
