The situation in Spain where LaLiga can force ISPs to ban any IP range they want without a court order is ridiculous and so aggressively anti-internet that it's causing real harm to Spain's citizens. Docker is one thing, but the other comments in this HN post are way worse (anti-theft alarms, apps for helping people suffering from dementia). It's horrible that clouds that serve multiple sites from the same IPs are being strong-armed into either taking down anything LaLiga wants without a court order or suffering mass ip blocks.

It's hard to believe that the "~80%+ of the internet is blocked in Spain during football games" claim is true - but it is!! And has been for years. The government is sabotaging their complete digital economy... for La Liga, a private football org worth €5B. Pure madness

Insane that a former president is tweeting about college sports while the current president is pledging genocide tonight at 8pm. The inanity of top Dems in a single tweet:

No biggie, but POTUS is threatening to take out an "entire country" of 90M+ people with I guess nuclear weapons. Very normal stuff, folks. Democrats may want to consider recognizing the ICC the next time they hold the White House and Congress.

Why are no journalists asking Trump if he is threatening to use nuclear weapons? He's repeatedly made what sound like nuclear threats. So why isn't he being asked this basic, very important question?

El Gobierno de España condena la pena de muerte contra palestinos que acaba de aprobar el parlamento de Israel.
